Hello everyone, i am so delighted to be a part of this great community and to also participate in this contest. To me this is not just one of those contests, i see it as a source of business ideas. i strongly believe that as many that will go through peoples hustle story, business ideas will come to them , those that are discourged and confused will receive strength and insight as well.

MY HUSTLE STORY

I started hustling at a very tender age, but because i didnt have a picture to back it up, i wont go into it.
The first job i got was in 2010 in a first bank as a contract staff.
As soon as i was done with my diploma , a friend linked me up to one Mr Humphrey in PH .
After going through the process of application, interview and induction , i finally got the job. it was like a dream to me, cause i never thought that was going to work in such a reputable organization with a diploma.

Working in the bank exposed me to so many people, both the high and mighty in the society. i worked with wonderful colleagues.
i first worked as a notechecker, then later on as a teller and finally as a customer service officer.
i was seen as a high profile lady, even in my family. The salary was very attractive for such a qualification.
But the greatest challenge with job was that , the core staff members see the contract staff as nonentity.
They way the core staff talk to and treat the contract staff made me to resign and go back to school.
They issue query to you at any slightest mistake.
i had one supervisor then, who i was 2 years older than, every little thing she will pick on me.
oneday it dawned on me that i had to upgrade myself , otherwise they use you and do rag.
And so glad that i resigned and went back to school.

MY SECOND HUSTLE STORY

when i went back to school (UNICAL), i decided to look for a business to sustain myself. i went into Akawo or osusu business. Honestly, if you ever touch money, staying without it, will make you sick. i had to think outside the box , since i had a banking experience, i decided to venture into AKAWO BUSINESS .
Though it was not so easy at first but i was able to grow the business to some extent.
At some point , i started giving loan to my customers. The loan gave me so much profit.
i even stopped the Akawo and concentrated on giving Loan.
when i was done with school, i came back to Aba to contiune with the business, i did it for few months and stopped.
Firstly , because Aba people were scared of trusting their money into my care, unlike Calabar people that just needed to see you pass one or two times and they starting contributing with you.
secondly, They few that did in Aba said they prefer 100naira daily, unlike calabar were i had customers contributing 3k , some 2k , some 1k daily.
So i got discourged and withdrew from he business.

HUSTLING CONTINUES

As i left the Akawo business, i went into beddings and that is what i do uptill date, and God has been faithful to me. Thank God for @whitestallion who introduced me to steemit. Though i didnt take it seriously after registering in 2020 but he kept persuading me for over one year and eventually i had to listen to him .
i had to buy a Laptop because of steemit , cause i want to be committed to it.
And everyday i look at my laptop, i say to myself "Hope !" you have to work hard in this business.
That has kept me pushing and pressing in this great community.

CONCLUSION

There is always something to do to make ends meet, if only we can think outside the box.

Wow! You are really a hustler and it's very true that

Honestly, if you ever touch money, staying without it, will make you sick.

You know some people don't trust others when money is involved or maybe they had bad experience from others.
I think that's the issue with Aba people.
Anyways, I wish you all the best.

Yea, Aba people are very careful when it comes to money. Infact igbo man generally

😆 it's their sweat na.
They got to be careful

I wanted to go into this akawo business but what stop is what if the run away with your money,

@mesola if you want to be doing daily contribution,i advise you collect your money every month.
I only trust myself but have heard and seen cases where they made away with people's money.
But ACCESS BANK do daily savings , where the bank opens an acct for you ,a staff comes to collect money from the individual daily and to pay into that acct.

Ok dear thank you very much for the advice
