Which house will you like to build first Mud house or block house?

INTRODUCTION
Some of us were not privileged to have seen a mud house while some have seen and lived in it but Let me take you all back to the days of mud house.
See a mud house
Mud house is constructed with Laterite(red soil) wall, palm front for the roofing and bamboos as structural support , many of our grandparents and great grand parents lived in this house as there was no idea of cement then. Because it was very cool without air conditioner. And was less expensive to build because of the material used. But there was some disadvantages of this house.
- If not properly build it can easily collapse.
- If you are wearing white you have to be careful to avoid stain.
- The woods used were easily affected by termites and this always result to the failure of the building if not replaced.
- During heavy rain the roof will be remove by the wind.
- It does not protect Sound
- Thief can easily break through the doors as the material holding the door is just mass laterite.
- It does not contain much rooms
- If water panetrate on the wall, it wash away the mud and expose the bamboos.
- No much design in mud house era.
- mud house doesnt take long time to construct
- mud house serve as fire resistance. That was why the Egyptian armies used it during the war to take cover.
Lets check block house and how it affects life
Block House
Fine block house
Block house as the name implies is built with blocks which is made of cement, sand and water. This type of house compared to mud house makes life so comfortable. With this features:
- It last longer than mud house
- maintainace is not regular
- It has so many design
- It is more secured than that of mud house
- Is not easily eaten by termites and paste that can be dangerous to our health.
- It is not easily blown away by heavy wind.
- It can be reconstructed after destruction by war.
Conclusion
Having seen the different between mud house and block house, we can recommend block house as it has vital effects in life and our safety.
I was once lived in a Mud house. But whenever their is a heavy down poor, you will understand the disadvantages if it. But as for block house. It makes life comfortable. Thanks so much @okerd-blessing.

There was a time when mud house was everywhere and people enjoy living in it because is cool but it requires maintenance all the time but today block house is taking over and it is more beautiful than mud house.I choose block house @okete-blessing

I have tried living in a mud house but that was during December period although it was interesting and cool to sleep inside it but I prefer the second one than the first.
