INTRODUCTION

It was Saturday morning and i was thinking of what i can prepare i remembered I have Abacha. I grabed it and bought some few things to prepare. Read more And learn how to make It.

Making a delicious Abacha you have to make this items available check below.

  • Abacha - This item is made from cassava, after peeling the cassava, slice it with a greater that wil give you the size you want. Size should be tiny straight then spray it to dry. For at least 3-5 days depending how the sun is. After sun drying it the Abacha is ready for use.

  • Utazi leaf- This leaf is a greenish bitter leaf that is used to ganish local dishes just like this one we are making. It helps to control stomach disorder for people that their stomach can't accept some foods. Thats why Utazi leaf is used.

  • kpomo or fish- I used kpomo because we need to keep our mouth warm and busy when eating our food.

  • putash or palm fruit ash- I used palm fruit ash because is more terolated to people's stomach

  • Red oil- Red oil is rich in vitamin A and brings out the face of the food.

  • Seasoning- I used Maggie, curry and onga for taste and seasoning of the kpomo.

  • Salt- For taste

  • cucumber - using cucumber for Abacha makes it look attractive apart from it nutritional value.

  • Fresh pepper& fresh Tomatos - This two ingredients in Abacha makes it eatable

Soak the Abacha in hot water pour in a filter for the water to drain out. Then get your Red oil and ash mix them together , add a little Maggie and salt stir until everything is mixed well then bring your abacha and pour. Thats is it.

Abacha is one of my favorites food's. I know how to prepare it in so many ways. Hmmmm this your own is so moth watering. Send me some please. That Utazi leafs is very good for stomach problems just like you said. I love eating roasted yam with Utazi leaf.
