STEEMALIVE COMMUNITY UYO ROAD SHOW DAY 6 WAS TOP NOTCH ||A TOTAL OF 15 NEW ACCOUNTS WERE CREATED TODAY||10% TO @STEEMALIVE

Hello dear beloved steemalive community members and @steemitblog, it is a great pleasure to be part of this great move initiated by @focusnow. The road show has proved to be a wonderful way to get people join steemit in a massive way. I as the city cordinator for Uyo and others have been trying my best to see that the steemians in my city join us to promote steem through this road show.

To show that we have been following through, today is the 6th road show we have participated in since it's announcement 6 weeks ago. At least we are going out in mass once a week apart from few others that promote other days.

Today's promotion was not left out. Infact, it is the highest of it all. See more details below.

UYOCITY ROAD SHOW DAY 6 WAS TOP NOTCH

It all started with the announcement I made yesterday about participating in the road show for this week and there and then, I started receiving questions about where we will do the road show.

We all converged in the steemit office at 11 Ediye Samuel Street off 4 lane traffic light opposite Enistores Uyo Akwaibom and took off from there at about 11:30am.

While in a vehicle to our location, I promoted steem to a fellow passenger who promised to contact me so that she will sign up after hearing from me.

We decided to do the road show at university of Uyo mini stadium because their tournament was ending today. Today was the finals and they will have about 4 finals to play. @meri2018 had told me about it. He said we will have Crowd because even the girls will be playing.

A team was going to use the steemit jersey I printed that we use for our end of the month meetup/football game to play. They used it on Tuesday and qualify for this finals. That Tuesday, I, @dequeen and @davosimple were there life. See the picture below

So today was really great. We met a lot of students who came around for the game and they were more relaxed to sign up despite the network challenges because today is my Country's independence day and there was a public holiday. So they weren't rushing for lectures or any other thing.

We were great team. We covered the whole place and met almost everyone. The result is that 15 accounts were created today, courtesy of everyone present. Some were helping out with sign up, some with achievement posts for the two persons that wrote their introduction post, some explaining Steem to others. It is even difficult to trace a particular person because we all worked as a team with Wonderful results. I have never seen such unity before in this steemit promotion. All credit go to us all.

All these while, the game was ongoing, the boys played theirs, about 2 sets before the girls that uses our t-shirts began

I was too busy that I couldn't take note of the second set that played. But for the girls, we suspended what we were doing to take pictures with them. The girls were very happy to have us around

Well, were not there to see the end of this girl's game because, it was getting late already. We left to have a lite refreshment at Sir Monty Extra, Ikpa road, Uyo where we took chicken pie and a bottle of soft drink each that cost a total of 6500 naira, sponsored by me to encourage us all.

Here is the receipt. At 260 naira per steem, that 6500 naira will amount to 25 steem.

That was were we called it a day for the day. On our way home, @ijelady met us. She did noble at her office today as those they had talked to about steemit came to her house to sign up and write their achievement posts.

CONCLUSION

I am seriously grateful to the whole team who made these results possible. I pray that all those who signed up will make themselves available for further training and assistance. We have their contact details and will add them up where they will be assisted further.
