Cucumber has been a very good fruit and I like consuming it. It can be called a fruit and it is equally in the class of vegetable, Coconut is greenished in nature if you take a close look by walking close to it.

Cucumber is usually planted during raining seasons because it needs water to enable the crop grow well. Cucumber is an annual crop, and it's planted by seeds.

Health benefits of eating Cucumber

Below are some of the health benefits for cucumber vegetable fruits:

  • it's high in nutrients: cucumber are low in calories but high in many important vitamins and minerals. For example:

• Protien 2 grams
• Fiber 2 grand

• Vitamin c 14% of the TDI
• Magresuim 10% of the TDI
• Manganese 12% of the TDI

  • Cucumber is made up of 96% of water, so it has a high water content

  • It is advice to be eaten unpeeled. Peeling the back reduces the amount of fiber also some minerals and vitamins

  • It contains Antioxidants: This are molecules that block oxidation, a chemical reaction that forms highly reactive atoms with unpaired electrons known as radicals.

  • It promotes Hydration: this helps in temperature regulation and the transportation of waste products and nutrients

  • it aid weight loss

  • It may lower blood sugar

  • It promote regularity

  • It is always easy to add to diet.
