Introduction
This is a review of a local business in my area. In every location, there are local businesses that serves the needs of the people that stays around there.
Without such businesses being close to us, it would have been harder to get our daily needs as we would have to cover more distance to get what we desire.
There are lots of small businesses in the area where I stay. For this contest this is one I'm writing about.
The Local Business being Reviewed
The local business that is reviewed is a combination of two distinct businesses that are in the same place.
One is a tuck shop business where things like biscuits and drinks are sold. And the other is a mini pharmacy where vital drugs are being sold there.
We shall be looking into each of the businesses individually and give a review about them.
Tuck Shop
The tuck shop is the first of the two businesses. It is the first section you see when you go to the shop. As you enter into the shop you begin to see items that are being sold.
Then when you go into the shop fully, you get to see other items that are being sold. Some of the items being sold are detergent, bathing soap, drinks, and bread, etc.
I shall be doing a review of four items that is on sale.
Item 1 - Pepsi: Pepsi is a carbonated drink. It is taken when you are thirsty, but can be taken at any time. It is a black liquid that is put in a transparent bottle. The price of Pepsi is N150 ≈ 1.15 STEEM.
Item 2 - Indomie Noodles: Indomie is a snack that can be easily prepared using just hot water and the seasoning that comes with it. They come in different flavors and sizes. For normal sized chicken flavor, the price is N100 ≈ 0.77 STEEM
Item 3 - Hala Bathing Soap: Hala bathing soap is used to have your bath in the morning. It comes in different flavors which is determined by the color of the brand. The price of Hala soap is N250 ≈ 1.92 STEEM
Item 4 - Munch It: Munch it is a snack that can be eaten at will. It is made of long lumps which are put in a pack. It has two flavors which are indicated by their colors with one being orange and the other yellow. The price is N100 ≈ 0.77 STEEM
Mini Pharmacy
The mini pharmacy is the second of the business and it is located in the second section of the shop building. It has useful drugs that would be needed during the time of illness.
Some of the drugs that are being sold are Panadol, Orheptal, Chemiron, MimGlobin, etc.
This is a review of two drugs being sold.
Item 1 - Orheptal: Orheptal is a blood tonic that is given to those who are in need of blood. It is put in their customary brown and green paper pack. The price is N1000 ≈ 7.7 STEEM.
Item 2 - Panadol: Panadol is a pain reliever. It is in tablets and is white in color. It comes in a tablet pack that contains 12 tablets. The price is N50 ≈ 0.38 STEEM.
Rating the Business
The business is located at very quiet street, where there's not much activities going on there. However, there are two churches in front of it. In terms of location it has 1/2.5
The customer care wasn't so great. The owner of the shop had so much concern about her shop being online, so I wasn't able to do much. In terms of customer care it has 1/2.5
The pricing of the products in the shop is generally okay. The prices are what is obtainable in the market. In terms of price it has 2.5/2.5
The environment of the place is clean and conducive. It is located in an area where the road is tarred and the is a drainage system. The shop is located by the side of the road, although it is small. In terms of environment it had 2/2.5
Conclusion
The shop is very helpful in providing both things that can be taken into the stomach immediately and help based products.
It is made up of two section with one being a tuck shop and the other a mini pharmacy. Different items are sold in both sections.
The business is located in a street which doesn't have much traffic and is always quiet. But the environment is very clean. The customer service is just okay and the pricing is just about perfect.
