Day 7 (Thursday 23/9/2021) of the Aba Steem Road was really a great success. 6 Newbies signed up
Introduction
the Steem Road show has come to stay and we love this project. Son on thurday the 23rd day of September 2021, we set out on another day of the Road show. We choose thursday because rain could not allow us to go out on the usual wednesday when we do it. So we did it on Thursday. So here is how it went for us.
When Went to St. Michaels Road
Yesterday, we decided to visit St. Michaels road once again. It is our second time of going to that location. Its one of the busiest places in the city because people come their for all kinds of phones issues. We left the office around 9.20am and arrived in 15 minutes time. The location is close to our office. Once there, we set up our mobile banner at Asa road junction by St. Michaels. Many people were passing and looking at the banner so We swing into action. We explained what Steemit is and the wonderful opportunity that users can enjoy.
My Personal Efforts
I personally spoke to some people about Steemit and gave them fliers. It was not easy for a few people to accept the opporunity since they have a negative view of some programs, always referring to it as scam. Nevertheless, I continued speaking a few listened to me and accepted to attend our training class the next day. Others promised to contact us for further discussion. I was able to sign up at least one person. Her username is. She even made her introduction post on the same day. Although she made a mistake in publishing it in SteemAlive instead of Newcomers community.

Refreshment after the Show
When we closed for the day, we were hungry and tired. So we needed something to eat. So I took the team to a restaurant where we could eat something. We went and found a place where we could get local food. We eat various soups with swallow as shown in the image below. After the food, we all went back to the office to get our things properly organized and arrange for the next road show which would happen the next day.

Conclusion
We have started a class for the people we recruited. The class started online and we have invited them for a physical training tomorrow Staurday 25/9/2021. I will continue to give them support and mentorship until they master how to do everything. I am so happy for the progress some of them are making already. Lets see how it goes.
