how to make a leather pam

In this post of mine I will be teaching/showing a step by step method of making a leather pam
I hope you will learn from it
Tools needed to make a leather pam are listed below

1. hammer
2. filling machine
3. wooden leg
4. leather and sole
5. gum
6. sowing machine
7. knife or scissors
   Use the following steps to make your leather pam

step 1

The first thing you should do before making a leather pam is to trace the person's size/feet using a cartoon or carbon paper, so as to get the person's size because different people with different sizes

step 2

After tracing the size all you have to do is to place the cartoon or carbon paper on a sole and leather then cut exactly

step 3

After cutting the leather and sole you will apply gum to the sole And leather to enable you gum the both ,then you gently press the both together with hands and also with harmer so it will it will be stronger

step 4

You will have to sow the the upper leather after cutting it in your design,then use a sowing machine to sow the leather and also sow with hand niddle so it will be stronger

step 5

After sowing you will then apply gum all over the sole and the upper leather then put in a wooden leg so it will be able to expand to a human size,then double your sole and couple it very tight with the use of a hammer

step 6

After coupling the pam you would have to check if there is any part that is not in order or that is longer than the order,if there is just put it in order with your knife or scissors then take to the filling machine and file

Filling of pam is very necessary because it smoothens the side surface of the pam

As you can see the difference is clear that is why it is essential to fill your pam
**Note: when filling or using your filling machine it is very necessary to put on a nose mask and a coat to prevent dust from entering your nose and staining your dresses
