Internet:this is a general vast network providing different types of information and communication tools and also connects computers all over the world. This uses a standard communication guides.

Internet was firstly invented by the Advanced Research Project Agency(ARPA) in 1969 and it was then call then called ARPANET because it was created by ARPA.
The agency was funded by the U.S. department of defense and they where connected initially with computers at universities in the south -west part of U.S,they include Stanford research institute,UCSB,UCLA and the University of Utah

In the first day of January 1983 which is the birthday of internet the defense data network changed to the TCP/IP so all the network can be connected using a universal language then it was now called the internet. This was done by Bob Kahn and Vint Cerf

how internet improved life

1. Communication: nternet is seen as one of the major/modern means of communication because it can allow two or more person's to communicate via it
2. Education: internet has improved the quality of education in too many ways for example, it allows student to learn whether they are inside or outside the classroom, it is the doorways to knowledge, educational resources, wealth of information etc.
3. selling and making money: through the help of the internet business owners can now sell there goods without seeing or knowing there client and they stand the chance to make money.
4. work from home: through the help of the internet, office workers can now do there work while at home.
5. it is seen as a major means of entertainment

• Before he invention it was very to get music, you can only get music by using the radio to record them and if you are unable to them while they are being played by a redio then you have missed the tune but with the help of the internet you can download music at any day and time.

• before the invention you are required to leave your house to shop for your gadgets and pay at a cinema just to watch a movie but with the help of the internet you can do all this while at home. etc

harmful effects of the internet

1. the internet is one of the major cause and source of school examination malpractice
2. excessive use of social network
3. it discourages face-2-face communication
4. it is a source/tool for distraction
5. pornography videos are in the internet

conclusion

Internet has changed life forever and it is still changing life. It has made life so easy for human to dwell on. I appreciate those who invented it
