My town (ABA) in ten pictures// Strictly 5 floors tall buildings// by @emjeak. Steem.
Introduction
Greetings my highly esteemed steemians. I hope our day went exactly as planned. It's that time again to tour my city, and I'll be your tour guide. Buildings, good road, electricity, flowers and trees beautifies a city. This town that we are about to tour has all these, especially tall buildings. This tour will only take us to some roads in ABA main town, in the next tour coming up soon we will see other parts of this beautiful city. Let's start, our first location will be:
Location 1
This five floor building is located at Cameroon road by georges, BUNDI HOUSE, close to the new market. It is a cooperate building, housing different offices, such as Bundi investments, Bundi International, Micro finance bank, etc.
Location 2
This five floor building is located at number 159 Cameroon road Aba by georges. Standing next to BUNDIS's HOUSE . It houses few residents and mostly offices. Always a very quiet building.
Location 3
As you can see, this five floor building at Tennant road by Mosque is located in a very busy area in Aba. Though it's all residential building, but there are loading and off loading/ lorry parks near it. Beautiful sight to behold.
Location 4
This five floor building is located close to market road by Mosque. It is almost all-residential building except few offices on the first floor, and a ware house on the ground floor.
Location 5
This is another five floor building standing next to another five floor building. It is located in a very busy area of market road by Mosque. A commercial building with only offices, it is not even advisable to reside there because of businesses around the building.
Location 6
Located at one of the most popular road/junction in Aba. This five floor building is conspicuous for two reasons
[1] At a popular junction= "AZIKIWE/ASA ROAD JUNCTION"
"AZIKIWE/MOSQUE JUNCTION"
"AZIKIWE/EAST JUNCTION.(steemalive training center).[2] Few meters away from ABA main park.
It houses offices, stores and some new generation churches.
Let us head back to Ehi road Aba to complete our tour for today.
Location 7
This is another beautiful five floor building located at 148 Ehi road, just before Ehi road by georges. Not fully occupied yet because it is newly erected, but it's all residential.
Location 8
Ehi road is a road with lots of tall buildings. A very beautiful five floor building located at Ehi road between Adazi/York street. It is all residential, also a recent building.
Location 9
This beautiful five floor building is a combination of commercial and residential building. It's a quiet place with the windows always closed. Not too long ago was it erected.
Let us check the last location of our tour today at the same road.
Location 10
LUNNA. PLAZA is a cooperate five floor building with only offices at Ehi road by York street in Aba located at a strategic point close to the new market.
Conclusion
Thank you for allowing me to be your tour guide, I really appreciate. Those were some beautiful sights, I hope you enjoyed the tour, but my only concern is that these tall buildings have no elevator or electric step (escalator). Please join me again for yet another tour.
I will like to know your opinion as concerns MY TOWN IN TEN PICTURES . Please let me know in the comment section.
@steemalive
@emjeak, thanks for taking us on a tour round your city. With your help, we have come to know some tall buildings from your city Aba.
Keep posting quality posts. And don't forget to keep us updated daily.
@steemalive. Thank you for your kind comments.
I hope to be making daily updates.
Best wishes.
Oh my goodness, Aba has tall buildings. Here in Uyo, You hardly see 5 story buildings along the road. The only places you can see such is in Estate. I think is because here is not really business area. Thanks so much our guide for taking us round your city. Luna Plaza is only offices. Hmmmm, If it is in Uyo it will be only 1 story .
@chichieze. Thanks a lot for reading my post. I appreciate.
I agree with you on that. ABA is a business area, there are many tall buildings. Best wishes.
Wow that's great. Thank you
You are right about that. Uyo doesn't have much tall storey buildings.
Your town is filled with lots of tall buildings with nice structures.
Thanks for sharing.
Hmmmm, you did a great job, there are many 5storey building in Aba now unlike years past when they were just few.
Thank you for taking me round my city.
@beautybb. Thanks a lot for stopping by.
Your observation about ABA some years back is correct. Fortunately now ABA is a fast growing city. Best wishes.
Aaaamazing, oh wow.
Both houses looks somehow similar, one can easily mistake one for another...if not for the What3words coordinate.
I love the arrangement of the post plus the simple explanation sir
@barnabie. Thanks a lot for your kind comments. I also appreciate your finding time to read my post. Best wishes.
Absolutely true. A perfect example are the 2 similar 4-storey buildings located at Azikiwe Road by Georges.
This is one interesting fact about Business men in Aba , they do not joke with investments and that is why they always build tall residential and business houses.
Thanks for touring us @emjeak.
The city of Aba is filled with many tall buildings.
Thanks for touring us around @emjeak
This location is always very busy on weekdays and weekends. I have noticed it too.
I heard aba is known for its tall building and thusbis due to lack of lands.
So they have to build really high buildings to accomodate more people.
Often the heighest floor is reserved for the landlord.
From there on he stares down as his subjects
@victoh78. Thank you so much for finding time to read my post.
Most landlords doesn't reside in the last floor of their building (tall buildings). Some of them will prefer living in bungalows or duplex. I guess they are trying to avoid the staircase. Best wishes.
Things seem to have changed then...
Back then I was made to belief the highest floor was reserved for the owners.
Seen both ten are all nice structure, said such building s' have no elevator and escalator not that bad . The occupants and visitors would enjoy the fine structure and it's environment .
Hmmmm, it's going to be a very risky venture putting elevators or escalators due to incessant power failures. Also most of the buildings houses both offices and homes. Moreover, climbing the stairs is also part of exercise 😂
No lies in it , because Nigerian's business tycoon dealing on alternative power supply ; wouldn't want sleep and woke up to see steady electric light .
On point. Steady power supply means bad business for them.
@luchly
You are absolutely correct about incessant power failure, but only the elevators can be connected big generators 24/7.
It could be exercise to young and healthy, but definitely not for most sick young ones and also not for the aged. Thank you for stopping by. Enjoy the rest of your day. Best wishes.
Aba is beautiful i keep telling people, things are changing not as before. See how beautiful my town is
Yes, oooo. Aba, Enyimba City to the world
