Hi my great steemians, i consider it a privilege to contest in this platform. On my contest today, i will be presenting to you some of my old gadget and new ones. As people living in digital world, 21st century at that, we involve in buying modern things like phone,new model television etc, and those things serve purposes of some home gadget like torchlight and wristwatch etc.
Below shows both my old and new television.

Where and when my dad bought the old black and white television

According to my dad,he bought this old black and white television at okpala junction where television were sold then in the year 1985. Then it was very costly and anybody that has such television and other house properties like fan,fridge, generator etc is considered a rich man, and we have all these properties so people always address is as children of the rich.

Amount my dad bought the old television

My dad said he bought this old television at the sum of 6000. Then 6000 was a huge amount of money and getting it was very difficult considering the economy of the country.

Quality and durability of the old television

The old television was strong with high picture quality. My dad used it from 1985 till 2002, that's good 17years, that shows how strong the television was. It served many purposes. Although we were strong then, we used it not only for,watching movies, we also used it for watching match like Nigeria vs Adgentina etc. Being the only people that have it in the whole village, almost all the villagers comes to our house to watch match until few others bought theirs.

As people that are living in digital world, 21st century at that, we decided to get a new television, hisence product, 43 inches long.

Where, when &Amount the new television was bought

We bought this new television at LG show room aba on october 16th 2015. It was bought at the cost of 105,000. Despite the high cost of it , we decided to buy it because of how strong it is. From the time we bought the television till now is approximately 7years,that is about 6years and 4months without any problem/issues since then.

Quality and durability of the new television

This new television is very strong. It is 43inches long. It is germany quality. It is of high quality with very high definition, that is to say that the picture quality is high. It is a brand new that is made to meet the need of this 21st century. It makes use of HDML cord which makes it easier to connect with laptop. It also has a USB pot, which means you can copy and play music, video etc direct. The television is not only used for watching movie, it runs many channels like football match and news etc.

In Nigeria, there is no steady power, let alone a normal one, so this television is built to operate even when there is low voltage.

Therefore ,i will say i love this new one because it really met the need of 21st century at large.
