Good day beloved members of Steemalive Community
Ginger is one of the hot flowering plants. It is made of rhizome because it grows underground. It can serve as spices while cooking your delicious meal. You can also eat it raw. It is very good to human health because it is medicinal. It is very good on your stew, it adds nice fragnance to your food.
Is ginger good to our body?
Yes. It is made up of antioxidants compounds which prevent all those bad stress that can destroy our body's DNA. Ginger, helps to fight against chronic diseases like high blood pressure, cardiovascular infections and blockage of lungs. It's good for elderly people because, it promotes healthy aging.
Other facts about ginger
It is advisable to eat at least small particle of ginger every day because, it fights against germs, sickness and cancer. Being a natural root, drinking the powdered one with water will add more nutrients to our body.
We only eat the edible part of ginger, which is the root. It contains both Vitamin C, potassium and magnesium.
Who should avoid ginger?
If you are on medications on diabetes or high blood pressure, please say No to ginger. Why? Because drugs like beta-blockers and anticoagulant together with insulin will be very harmful and dangerous when mixed with ginger. As a matter of fact, ginger lowers high blood pressure, so it will not be good for one undergoing treatment on high blood pressure to eat ginger.
Does Men need ginger?
Both men and women need ginger. But when it comes to sex, it does more work on men than women. How? The juice ginger is the number 1 potent aphrodisiac which puts a stop to premature ejaculation and impotency in men. In other words, ginger is a healing to those who doesn't last long on the bed.
In the case of women who normally experience painful periods, ginger reduces the pains. So, eating ginger regularly is good for everyone. Please avoid it, if you are undergoing treatment on the things mentioned above.

No wonder, one of my Godmother don't cook without using ginger and I was wondering why is she always using it.
