Imagine a classroom. On the net/online where you can learn together, share resources (like textbooks, notes, etc.), discuss, do assignments, carry out projects, take quizzes, tests, and even examinations. Your imagined classroom is a digital classroom. Have you been in one before?

A digital classroom is an environment where teaching and learning are carried out online or on the net.
Unlike a regular classroom, which involves a set environment with learning apparatus and physical presence, the digital classroom is one that can be accessed even at the comfort of your palms. Sounds amazing, right!

Oh yes! The digital classroom has to be adopted. With the increasing rate of overpopulation. It's now very common to see; an exasperated lecturer, an overheated classroom oozing with different odours, lackadesical students and serious students... The list is just endless.
These problems, however, can be solved with a digital classroom. Where I don't have to sit in a cramped classroom, get worried about what to wear to school, get distracted by every Dick Tom and Harry, or watch my lecturer's face get scrunched up at the sheer population of the classroom.
The digital classroom would also be of aid to my teachers/lecturer, as they won't have to scream to get heard, get uncomfortable standing for long hours, worry about getting the right classroom, or even refuel his car to drive to school.

As for the benefits, they include;
Flexibility: with digital classrooms, be rest assured you wouldn't have to worry about transportation fare, what to wear, skipping breakfast's, or even a failed clothe zipper which can be a big big hindrance in a physical classroom.
A Wider Range of Resources: compated to the physical classroom, the digital classroom makes use of the internet & e-learning materials, which is a lot faster to access and easier to handle.
Learning gets more personal: Digital classrooms stylishly wipes theback benchers - a jargon used to refer to those uninterested and unconcerned members of the physical classroom.
Despite the appealing advantages, some disadvantages exists and they include;
- Distractions: At that blessed moment you have a digital class, your tiktok toks, your WhatsApp calls, Facebook becomes so interesting and you just can't leave that game or the allure to play music.
These and many other are the challenges faced when using a digital class, compared to the physical class where the ever watching eyes of the teacher is present.
Erratic Power Supply/Network connections : And oh while you don't have to worry about refuelling your car or what to wear or odours from a cramped class room, the problem of data and powee supply rears its head. Imagine missing a test you prepared gor because you ran out of data or your phone is shutdown due to low battery. At that moment, you would wish you had a pen and paper to go to that stuffed classroom.
Problem of Tests and Exams: While as a student this is might be a blessing, to the teachers it's a severe headache. As examinations and other assessments just got easy to rig/cheat. As there is no doubled eye strict lecturer/teacher to delligently watch the students put their brains to work. AI's, Split screens, and other advanced technologies just made it get more difficult.

We dont have to worry about transport costs and cramped spaces in a digital classroom however we do have other factors ti worry about. Therefore for digital learning to work in our digital classrooms, hardwork, discipline and readiness is expected from both teachers and students.

Are you aware this could be your project topics and I believe if it was you will definitely expantiate on this, a digital classroom can be a complete solution to this overcrowding and lousy population of student trooping into the classroom, like you said we make spend so much time thinking of what to wear and this will eventually lead us to arriving our classrooms late, but it can never be achieved in a day not even 2 years in most countries.
While we aim at brnging comfort to the classroom we should also understand that this comfort we may bring may not foster effective learning. What if I join the class and then something is going on behind the camera, I may sleep off and nobody will wake me up, except a measure is taken which could be joining the class in groups of 10-20, I have a bag full of imaginations on how effective this could be especially with a steady flow of network, In my country I wonder if will shift our focus on fixing the problem of connectivity before targeting the initiation of digital classrooms.
