We are all thieves (En) / Wir sind Dieben (D)

If you steal, take something that isn't yours, you are a thief.

If you think about it you can only conclude most of us are.
It doesn't matter if you took money out of your sibling's money boy, your parents wallet or robbed a bank as an adult, you are a thief.
It doesn't matter if you shop lifted once as an eight years old, daily as a teenager, steal a bread or threaten a shop owner with a weapon, you are a thief. It doesn't matter if you take a book out of the library, school or a bookshop, if you didn't pay for it, do not have the permission to keep it you are a thief.
Taking your sibling's, friend's, mother's clothes without permission is stealing too and not different from taking them out of the shop.

No matter what people say: stealing is stealing. The deed is not less worse because you only did it as a kid, it was only a pen you took from work, your mother, grandparents, neighbor, employer or the shop keeper won't even miss it, they always rip you off, you are poor, the group forced you, you are just a kid, the addicted shoplifter, had a bad childhood, have no dad, do it for the kick and are not using it, the company has an insurance or no one catched you and you didn't end up in jail. You are a thief.

If we are robbed, someone picks our pockets we are furious. We seem to easily forget our own deeds. Is this a trick of the brain or is it easier not to have a closer look at our own deeds and we think we have/had a good excuse to make our deed sound less worse?

Stealing is stealing and there's no excuse for it. Tasting fruit at a shop without permission is stealing and not different from carjacking.

I wonder what the world looked like if we all were as honest as we claim to be but also if bad deeds can be wiped out by good deeds. What do you think?

Wenn du klaust, etwas nimmst, das dir nicht gehört, bist ein Dieb.

Wenn man darüber nachdenkt, kannst du nur den Schluss ziehen, dass die meisten von uns Dieben sind.

Es spielt keine Rolle, ob du Geld aus dem Sparschwein deines Geschwisters, der Brieftasche deine Eltern oder einer Bank ausgeraubt habst, du bist ein Dieb.
Es spielt auch keine Rolle, ob du als achtjähriger, nur als Teenager täglich "gratis" eingekauft hast, ein Brot klaust oder einem Ladenbesitzer mit einer Waffe drohst, du bist ein Dieb. Es spielt keine Rolle, ob du ein Buch aus der Bibliothek, der Schule oder einem Buchladen nimmst. Wenn du dafür nicht bezahlst, kein Erlaubnis dazu hast, bist du ein Dieb.
Die Kleidung deiner Geschwister, Freunde oder Mutter ohne Erlaubnis tragen, wegnehmen ist auch Diebstahl und unterscheidet sich nicht davon, sie aus dem Laden zu nehmen.

Egal was die Leute sagen: Stehlen ist stehlen. Die Tat ist nicht weniger schlimm weil du es nur als Kind tat, es nur ein Bleistift am Arbeitsplatz war, deine Mutter, Großeltern, Nachbarn, Arbeitgeber oder der Ladenbesitzer es vermissen kann, dass du immer ausgenutzt wirst, arm bist, die Gruppe dazu zwingt, du nur ein Kind warst du bist ein Dieb.

Wenn wir ausgeraubt werden sind wir wütend.
Wir scheinen unsere eigenen Taten leicht zu vergessen. Ist dies ein Trick des Gehirns oder ist es einfacher, nicht die eigenen Taten zu sehen, sie zu vergessen?

Wir haben/hatten einen Grund um dass was wir gemacht haben gut zu reden?
Für Diebstahl gibt es keine Entschuldigung. Das kosten von Obst ohne Erlaubnis im Geschäft unterscheidet sich nicht vom Carjacking.

Ich frage mich, wie die Welt aussieht, wenn wir alle so ehrlich sind wie wir behaupten, ob schlechte Taten überhaupt von guten Taten ausgelöscht werden können. Was meinst du?
