Applause! In my opinion an excellent Haiku

Thank you so much for saying this. I have no idea if it's right if it comes to writing an English won. To be honest I do not understand why it is different in each language. That doesn't make sense to me.

Happy weekend. 💕

Una participante que se vuelve constante, estas como yo desde que descubrí los haikus me encantaron. Un hermoso sentir al ver una fotografía, expresar lo que vez. Me encanto tu aporte.

A participant who becomes constant, you are like me since I discovered the haikus I loved them. A beautiful feeling to see a picture, feel what you see. I loved your contribution. @wakeupkitty

@sacra97 Thank you my friend. I just do not understand why the rules are different.

It is good to say much with only a few words. ❤️

@wakeupkitty The last verse reflects sadness of the soul, I hope you raise that mood.

@felixgarciap Really? Sorry to hear you are sad. I meant it is clean, no garbage. Thanks for reading and commenting

Good job. You have the gift of empathy, very important in this kind of poetry.

@zeleiracordero Thank you for reading and your kind comment. ❤️

Such a clear reflection means the coast is clear. I like that. If there were turbulence, he/she/it (you know how I am about preferred pronouns) would not go in. Cool haiku.

@owasco Thank you for your comment. I appreciate it. 😘💕

I like that very much, the way you play on the animals watchfulness. Play on words, too. A still life, and the watchful, careful animals are still alive :))

@agmoore Thank.you for your comment. I.appreciate it..❤️

I understand what you want to express: it is the same thing that I felt in front of the scene that I photographed. Everything was in peace and motionless, only the slumbering nutria turned slightly.

Regarding the difference between syllables required for haiku in English and Spanish, we had spoken of it in one of the previous editions: English is a more synthetic language, therefore with a 5/7/5 structure there is a risk of "saying too much"

@bananafish Thank you for your answer and the feeling described understood.

Perhaps it is true you can say too much but it all depends too on the words chosen and the feeling that comes with a certain word and that is personal plus what you lack if you are not a native speaker.
