At least that is what we try to do. We a few members who host contests and love to see some new, active members.
A bit of activity, initiative is asked next to your creativity to write about whatever you like. Believe me even with a theme it's possible to tell what you had in mind.
If you know the deadline of a CCC contest go over there a few hours earlier and read, comment and upvote.

There are enough you can join to keep you busy. Most of them you can write before they are online. You only need to post them as soon as the new contest is online.
If you are new have a look at the deadlines! It's possible you can still join the old contest. This means you have an extra chance to win.

CCC commitments
Engage, leave a comment, ask for help. This is the way to meet members and make them read you. Building a bond on Steemit is important. If no one reads you most likely no one will give you an upvote!
Be original, show interest. A comment doesn't need to be long as long as it's from your heart.
CCC members will invite you to join other contests once they know you. Take your chance because joining contests is the way to be noticed, earn and grow faster.

Me encanta su mirada... amo a los gatos... pero soy más de perros... soy muy alergica a el pelo de gatitos, pero eso no me impide cuidarlos, rescatarlos y buscarle hogar, hoy tenemos 15 gatos que buscan dueño...
Tengo alergias extremas. Mantengo animales principalmente afuera. Lo hice con mi refugio. Trabajé en un zoológico. Trabajé para el rescate de animales y conduje la ambulancia de animales. Este gatito es para mi hijo. Lo prometí No está permitido entrar a los dormitorios. Después de tocarlo, me lavo las manos. Ventilo y limpio mucho. Es posible producir anticuerpos contra su propio gato, mascota. Espero lo mejor y no abrazo ni dejo que se acerque a mi cara.15 ¿Los gatos necesitan un hogar? Espero que encuentres uno. You have a cute family member now, it's cute kazimir.
He is so far a great cat. Sweet not wrecking the place and sleeps a lot. I am happy with that. Let's hope it continues this way. He is a bit skinny though.
