Comparison can be described as the act of checking or measuring the similarities either between two different people or two different things.

A lot of people have the habit of comparing themselves to another person around them which they feel is more successful, popular or richer than them.

Some parents sometimes compare their children to other children who are probably more successful in their careers.

This comparison sometimes give room for jealousy, fight and unhealthy competition. Sometimes some children fake their grades or copy from their fellow just to please their parents.

And sometimes adult who feel they are looked down because of others who seem better than them get bitterly jealous and even hate the other person who may not even know what is going on in their mind.

The truth about the whole issue is that everyone is created different and unique in their own way.

When checked carefully you will always realise that the person you think is perfect has his own weak point.

Everyone has their area of specialisation. The other person lacks what you have and may also be admiring you secretly.

The bottom line is that comparison is very unhealthy and should be avoided as much as possible.

It is therefore reasonable to focus on being the best we can be, appreciate ourselves the way we are, stop comparing ourselves, stop comparing other people.

True, it's unhealthy to compare yourself to others. Better focus on your skills and work with others. Together we're strong.

Thank you for joining our contest. 👍

I never faked my grades nor did my children. Hate, envy is a nasty thing. It would help if parents and teachers encourage each child. Both easily seem to like to compare and no matter how great some children are it's never good enough. I experienced that with my children and teachers.

The youngest skipped the 2nd grade at primary school read in the highest level and the teacher wrote down in the report of the 3rd grade: keep practising reading to get better (there was no better).

Other child: each report exactly the same remarks that didn't make any sense. 🤔

Every child is blessed and talented in a different way, so comparing them will do no good, it's better to accept each of them just the way they are and just aim at helping them develop their natural abilities. Thanks for reading through!💖

You are welcome. Enjoy your week. 🍀💖
