Let's think about our daily life without internet! CONTEST Looking Back/Look Forward 2.37.
Dear friends
This week my friend @wakeupkitty asks for our opinion on how it affects the internet in our lives. So in the call for this new contest she raises the following arguments:

I didn't intend to stay on this platform but I came back and kept trying.
Many hours a day I spend commenting next to publishing what keeps me busy.
I mainly stayed because the site I used to join changed and I can no longer log in and it is not mobile user-friendly.

Steem(it) causes the same problems but @partiko still makes it possible to post if every app lets me down.
I miss the other platform just like I miss an old site where I chatted with people all over the world. One grew out into a good penpal.

A life without the internet is hard these days. Especially if you are forced to use it by governments, schools, banks, taxes, etc.

If it comes to it I miss the old days.
Those days the internet was used for fun, to chat, find some information and I read my e-mail. All the online administration takes a lot of time and energy. You need to register everywhere and I am tired of that, the stress it causes me.

What is it you use your internet for?
I certainly agree with her in each of the aspects, now our existence has been complicated after the advent of the computer age.
Years ago at the beginning of the last century, the millionaire people only thought to travel in transatlantic to know other places, so by that time we have events as relevant as the sinking of the Titanic. At that time the means of communication available was the radio with which the messages were transmitted in Morse code.
Already by the time of World War II, technology advanced with the emergence of complete rooms dedicated with a central computer.
Thus, less than 30 years ago, with the advent of the microprocessor and the Microsoft Windows operating system, the emergence of the internet with the network interconnection of millions of computers was brewing.
For better or worse, we are part of the generation that has the technology of communications available on the Internet, which allows us, among other things, to know places that we can hardly visit in the course of our lives.
Considering that this technology is still in diapers, this situation creates many inconveniences and uneasiness to have to be investing in new devices from time to time to enjoy new features.
Just as a simple user of this technology, I do not stop admiring the engineers and people who make its use and application of the internet possible, being assured that in a short period of time we will see new applications of this.
At the moment I use the internet to receive / send emails, chat with friends, do research work in which I need to perform a bibliographic search. Financial operations. In addition to posting online on my Blog. And of course continue to venture into the world of technology and blockchain.

Esta semana mi amiga @wakeupkitty pide nuestra opinión sobre como afecta internet en nuestra vida. Asi en el llamado para este nuevo concurso ella plantea los siguientes argumentos:

No tenía la intención de quedarme en esta plataforma, pero volví y seguí intentándolo.
Muchas horas al día paso comentando después de publicar lo que me mantiene ocupado.
Principalmente me quedé porque el sitio al que solía unirme cambió y ya no puedo iniciar sesión y no es fácil de usar para dispositivos móviles.

Steem (it) causa los mismos problemas, pero @partiko todavía hace posible publicar si cada aplicación me decepciona.
Extraño la otra plataforma al igual que extraño un sitio antiguo donde chateaba con personas de todo el mundo. Uno se convirtió en un buen amigo por correspondencia.

Una vida sin internet es difícil en estos días. Especialmente si los gobiernos, escuelas, bancos, impuestos, etc., lo obligan a usarlo.

Si se trata de eso, extraño los viejos tiempos.
Esos días, Internet se usaba para divertirse, chatear, encontrar información y leer mi correo electrónico. Toda la administración en línea requiere mucho tiempo y energía. Necesitas registrarte en todas partes y estoy cansado de eso, el estrés que me causa.

¿Para qué utilizas tu internet?
Ciertamente coincido con ella en cada uno de los aspectos, ahora nuestra existencia se ha visto complicada luego del advenimiento de la era de los computadores.
Años atras en los inicios del siglo pasado, las personas millonarias solo pensaban realizar viajes en trasatlanticos para conocer otros lugares, asi para ese tiempo tenemos sucesos tan relevantes como lo fue el hundimiento del Titanic. En ese momento el medio de comunicacion disponible era la radio con la cual se trasmitian los mensajes en codigo Morse.
Ya para el momento de la segunda guerra mundial, la tecnología avanzo con la aparición de habitaciones completas dedicadas con un computador central.
Asi hace menos de 30 años con el advenimiento del microprocesador y del sistema operativo Microsoft Windows se fue gestando la aparición de la internet con la interconexión en red de millones de computadores.
Para bien o para mal somos parte de la generación que tiene a su disposición la tecnología de las comunicaciones mediante internet, la cual nos permite entre otras cosas conocer lugares a los que difícilmente podemos visitar en el transcurso de nuestra vida.
Considerando que esta tecnología aun esta en pañales, esta situación nos crea muchos inconvenientes y desasosiego al tener que estar invirtiendo cada cierto tiempo en nuevos dispositivos para poder disfrutar de nuevas funcionalidades.
Así como simple usuario de esta tecnología no dejo de admirar a los ingenieros y personas que hacen posible su uso y aplicación de la internet, teniendo la seguridad de que en un lapso de tiempo corto veremos nuevas aplicaciones de esta.
En estos momentos utilizo internet para recibir/enviar mensajes de correo electrónico, chatear con amigos, realizar trabajos de investigacion en los que requiero realizar una búsqueda bibliográfica. Operaciones financieras. Ademas de publicar en internet en mi Blog. Y por supuesto seguir incursionando en el mundo de la tecnología y del blockchain.

Isn't it strange how fast we forget morse, the telegrams, how we hardly write a letter or send a postcard and even doing such by the internet is too much trouble?
In the old days, not so long ago, we visited people, had our tea or coffee together, talked about the day, etc. Everything, every theme is possible.
These days we can enter the whole world, watch it, speak worldwide but we do not have the time. We hurry and our cup of coffee get's cold while we search for...

I remember watching a stand up comedian laugh about how before all our homes were ready for guests. We made sure we had coffee, and a little something to munch on.
Now, when our doorbell rings (even though it is usually a delivery person) we all look at each other awkwardly, wondering who would dare be at our door stopping by to say hello without announcing themselves first.
Times sure have changed.

Certainly, the world spins slower when technology was not yet advanced. People go sailing for months, our mails are appropriately called a "snail mail," being slow as a snail. Le sigh.
But Internet has its pros and cons. We really need to strike a balance on how we are using it.
