My fellow Steemians
It is with GREAT excitement that I write this post tonight!
I went to have supper, came back to my desk, and wholla! The voting on posts is now starting to display correctly. See, as I told you, the Steemit team was doing their utmost to resolve the problems.
I am sure that soon everything will be back to normal.
I’ve also heard that posts are not taking so long to display anymore. Well, I suppose I will be putting it to the test when I push the post button after I have finished writing this post.

Steem For Ladies
It was a busy week in the Steem For Ladies community. Although we did not receive many entries for the engagement challenge, we managed more than 20 posts per day.
It is a proven fact that the ladies just love contests.
Don’t miss this week’s SEC 16: WK3 contest: “Raising boys and girls”
My duties:
- Curation and verification of posts on my day of duty as well as filling in on the days of others
- Educating and monitoring 7 moderators
- Validating MOD verifications
- Verifying new members
- Booming posts submissions and community voting
- Taking care of community notifications and comments
- Writing of 4 community posts
- Monitoring and running of community contests
- Lending a helping hand to members of the community
- Approval of moderator contests
General:
On the support side, it was a busy week outside the platform. Support was given to nine Steemians. I also received a lot of questions regarding the functionality problems.
Those who were helped via the platform were mainly helped with club status, voting power, and the general improvement of posts.
Africa:
Supporting and helping my fellow Steemians from Africa is still a priority for me.
Communities
No advice was given to any of the communities.
Curator
Support was given to two curators.
Issues encountered:
The only problem encountered was still the functionality problems of the last few weeks. Performing duties is very time-consuming, but in the same breath, it is also now very thorough.
What I have noticed is that there are a lot of new users who don’t complete the “Achievement Tasks” for newcomers. Not only will support be so much easier if they finish the set tasks, but posts will also look much better.
Maybe the Newcomer curating team can look at rewarding posts based on the achievements completed.

I wonder how one saves for the next milestone.
I noticed yesterday posting seems to work faster but I also noticed that posts I posted the evening before are labelled as 2 days old..I thought it was a mistake so checked again but it's not.
Perhaos they use/built in steempro mobiles' way for the time being or as a backup?
The app makes upvoting and commenting easier but some of my posts look terrible even if it's a copy (layout/justify) from another post.
You will just have to wait and see :-)
There are still some problems. I've also seen posts that I've curated where images disappeared, but I'm sure they will have it all functionally 100% soon.
Steempro is making the lives of mobile users easier. It was not created for backup purposes. Well, not according to my knowledge.
I must admit, I will go insane if I had to do it all on my mobile phone. I don't even vote from my phone. 🙈
I forgot who told me but he said they should have build that system in for the platform so I guess it's possible, perhaps not on long term?
I have no other choice... by now I'm used to it. To be honest I think in a different way if I'm typing on my phone, changing into a laptop might change my writing.
Perhaps my son can repair one old one of mine, the other one we tried, replaced some parts but its the end.
Needed some time to figure out SteemPro and noticed failures over there too. P

Que bueno que se preocupen porque por los logros de los recién llegados para así cumplir sus objetivos y aumentar la calidad de las publicaciones de #newcomer. Estoy intentando que los usuarios nuevos que forman parte de mi proyecto sean disciplinados con sus logros o al menos conocer los comandos para que los utilicen posteriormente en sus publicaciones!

I've also decided to pay more attention to the newbies and encourage them to return to those achievements. In the end, it will help us a lot.
As for those beneficiaries... A silly mistake from my side, and that at a time when the platform was giving problems. By the time the post showed there were already too many votes to delete it.
We are never too old to learn; the first thing you should do is set beneficiaries. (•ิ‿•ิ)

What does "saving for the next milestone"means/how to do that?
I power up every week where I only have to power up once a month. I am "saving" by not doing a power up now but when I have enough to take me to that next dolphin (•ิ‿•ิ)
Ah okay, thanks for explaing. So basically it is what I do powering up once a month. Keeps me remembering too when I started again.
You'l never will be an orca dolphins only?
I will have to swim like crazy if I want to be more (•ิ‿•ิ)
I'm not a great swimmer 🤔 what's in between a dolphin and orca? I remember a long list of seacreatures... we need a mermaid or octopussy 😁
