I think new users become dormant due to the promises they get when they hear about Steemit. When they do not get visited by a Steemcurator account they sulk instead of engaging with the community.
There has never been such a high focus on newbies in the 4 odd years i have been here. I see some do power up there earning's and grow there accounts whereas others just cash out.
We need to promote steemit as a Social network first which can lead to a crypto investment - I think we should all be encouraging 100% power up especially now we have a 4 week power down period.
Thank you for joining the discussion. Yes, agree, the people who recruit/bring in new users coming into Steemit should not promise anything such as a guarantee big votes from steemcurators as that the first cause root of the problem...
They should be using the "stimulus" from steemcurators wisely by delegating the steem power to the community of their interest so they can still get support in the long run and keep building their steem power, then only cash out when they have already strong based community steem power.
Don't kill the goose that lays the golden eggs/their SP received from the "stimulus" of steemcurators...
@kiwiscanfly you are right but Different people have different thinking , some want to grow and some want to Earn .
But all become dormant becouse of no attention and less support .
And not all people think about the growth of platform on which they are working .
But few poeple work all the time for the growth of platform .
