As a business owner, I am very firm in managing the work system. I listened to their complaints, then answered them in various ways. I don't think of them as workers at my place. I consider them to be my friends who are desperately fighting together to develop the business.
As I explained in a previous post about changing the layout. It turns out that modifying the barbershop greatly affects the comfort of the workers and customers. If they are happy and comfortable, turnover will increase drastically. In a light meeting through the WhatsApp application, I asked them for advice and input about the salary payment system. Use old mode, or new mode. Our old fashion pays their salary every night before 11.59 pm. As for the new mode, we will pay their salaries once a month. Many of them choose to be on a daily salary only.
At the beginning of every month, I send an excel application which will be filled in by my manager until the end of the month. But this month is a little different. I have to add a self-made excel application for cashier. For the cashier, it contains 32 sheets that must be filled in, with details every day filled with one excel sheet according to the date that I have made.
It looks very simple, but its function is extraordinary. It makes it easier for cashiers without having to count manually again. In the cashier application that I made, I have embedded formulas that automatically subtracting, adding, dividing and multiplying daily income. In the income sheet, the balance will increase automatically from the daily income that is filled in on each date.
