Good day everyone here in the wonderful community business activity, I hope you day has been as good as mine. Today I'll like to talk about the wonder customer experience I had by the service of this excellent Barber, Emmy barbing complex. I was moved to talk about this business cause of the excellent service I was rendered, and things I also learnt from him. Even though we both run a completely different businesses,we are entrepreneurs so I didn't just go there to receive his services but to see and learn some business strategies and ideas to adopt for the progress of my own business, which I'm going to share with you all here. ABOUT EMMY'S BARBING COMPLEX

Emmy's Barbing complex is a male hair saloon, which specializes in giving excellent haircut. This saloon is located in my community in club street, Sabon gari Zaria, Kaduna state in Nigeria. They specialize on rendering excellent haircut to males both young and old, dying of hairs, treatment of bumps,selling of male wears like shoes, clothes, hair treatment cream and sharpening of clipper blades.

HOW I GOT TO KNOW ABOUT EMMY'S BARBING COMPLEX

Like I mentioned, Emmy's Barbing complex is located in my community and very close to my residence which opened over 3years ago, so I've known them for a while but never a taken haircut from them because I had my barber, and most guys like me hardly change our barbers, like the saying over here ("it's easier to change you girlfriend than for a guy to change his barber"), and basically because I knew him when he was still an apprentice, so I was skeptical about taking a haircut from him not until I started seeing the results of his rendered services on people which caught my attention, and where I take my haircut was far from my residence, so I gave it a try to take my haircut from him and I so much love it and the way I'm looking now and I got my palm slippers (mens flip flop) from him too, which is also worth the price and also beautiful cause I've received lots of compliments on it and my haircut and I've also referred friends to Emmy's Barbing complex.

THE KIND OF SERVICE RENDERED TO ME AT EMMY'S BARBING COMPLEX

Aside the skill in executing his services, a few other things which speaks much about his excellence mindset caught my attention. The arrangement of his complex, the fact that he doesn't just render services alone but also sells goods related to his targeted customers.

When I entered, he welcomed me properly, though he was tending to a customer before I came in, his worker's politely offered me a seat, the saloon was well ventilated with a plasma television showing and interesting movie which helped to me busy while waiting for my turn.
When it got to my turn one of his workers directed me to the barbing seat and wrapped me up with a clean barbing cloth, and sterilized the clipper properly in my presence cause I didn't come with my personal clipper. While I was having my haircut, I noticed his precision in fading out the edges,carving me and also the way he took his time to barb me regardless other customers waiting, he gave me his maximum attention while also engaging us all in an interesting and intelligent conversation which I was enjoying, after then, the worker in charge of cleaning me up, cleaned me up with disinfectant and dust out every little air particles from me. After my hair cut he showed me the shoes he sells and clothes and told me it'll look good on my cute haircut, of which I bought at the price of 8000 naira which is equivalent to 59.3STEEMS and paid 500 naira for my haircut which is also equivalent to 3.7STEEMS all together I happily spent 8500 naira equivalent to 63STEEMS cause everything was worth it.

I also noticed his workers have different tasks they carry out, one of his worker tends to old men who don't fancy styles but want everything cleared out, one of the worker tends to children with simple styles, another worker cleans up customer that have been barbed, and also puts them barbing clothes before they being tended too and the last guy is in charge of welcoming customers and running of errands.

THINGS I LEARNT FROM EMMY'S BARBING COMPLEX

I left there very happy and satisfied with the service I received and with my new look and thought to myself 'this is how I also want my customers to feel after visiting my store'. So here are few but valuable lessons I learnt from my experience at EMMY'S BARBING COMPLEX.

1. Diligence and consistency in handling your business even in the midst of difficulty. As I said he started not more than 3years ago and has achieved alot.

1. Having a healthy relationship with your customers.

1. Giving the best you can to your customers, by having a goal of leaving them better than you met them or they came, either by rendering your services or by selling of your goods. Like the way he took his time to be precise with the fading edges and carving me to look good despite other customers waiting, he wasn't pressured by loosing them but he took his to give his uttermost best because one satisfied customer is worth more than the money cause they'll do the networking and recommendations for you. This is what I loved most from Emmy's Barbing complex and would adopt in my business.

2. Creating awareness, he created an awareness that he sells men's wears which caught my attention to buy the palm slippers, some business owners just assume the customers sees their products without telling them.

3. Knowing your targeted customers and know what they need or their problem and solving it.

4. Have a good site for your business. I didn't mention emmy's Barbing complex is located close to a football cinema, which brings his Targeted customers naturally cause guys watch football and from there get to see his saloon and either go for haircut or buy some of his male wears.

5. The last be not the list is ORGANIZATION. Emmy's Barbing complex has different workers handling different integral parts of the business which is the obvious catalyst to the speedy growth of Emmy's Barbing complex.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion I'm looking forward implementing all that I have learnt from my visit to Emmy's Barbing complex into my business in different ways because we don't run exactly the same type of business. Strong and Might store we sell provisions various basic needs, like soap, detergent, seasoning, toothpaste and so on
