Greetings and blessings to all my friends from #businesactivity, once again here, this time to show you our daily routine with the sale of coffee.
Daily routine with the sale of coffee.
There is a saying that says:
He who gets up early, God helps him.
At the food distributor and GI Services, we start working very early in a schedule from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm at the local located in the market of Puerto La Cruz, Anzoátegui State. In the warehouse that is where we roast the coffee, it can be said that we are open all day, depending on the number of orders. There are days that we are only half a day, but other days we are all day until late at night.
In the municipal market we sell pastry products, and coffee beans and ground wholesale and retail. In this place, we have three mills available, two of which are used to grind the grain and the other so that the coffee is completely ground. We sell 300 to 400 kilos of coffee daily between ground and beans, wholesale and retail.
The truth is that working with coffee is hard, arduous work that leaves a lot of fatigue. But the rewards are good, if you have order and responsibility in business.

The routine in the barn, which is where we have the industrial machines to process coffee, is the following:
 | This is the threshed coffee bean, after a series of processes, it is ready for roasting. |
 | Two quintals of coffee are placed in the roaster for 40 minutes. This is a total of 92 kilos of coffee. Which is then emptied into the chiller. |
 | After the coffee has gone through the chiller, and is quite cold, it is placed in the sacks with plastic bags and despite 25 kilos. |
 | .The 25 kg bags of coffee are ready, to be distributed and delivered according to the orders of the day |
A quintal of coffee weighs 46 kilos, the roaster has a capacity for two quintals. But when these are roasted, it decreases to approximately 36 kilos per quintal.
During roasting, the coffee loses moisture and this makes it weigh less.
Coffee processing is quite extensive work. This process is quite a lot, but it is what allows us to bring a quality coffee to your cup, which you will surely enjoy. In the next post I would like to tell you a little about my farm that is in Bergantín-Venezuela.

The rich aroma of coffee, from the beginning to the processing, must be an unmatched experience.
