When Isa Khan governed Bengal in the fifteenth century, this location served as the capital, making it a significant political and commercial hub for the residents. Sonargaon contains a richness of Mughal, Sultanate, and colonial-era architecture because of this.
The Panch Pir Mazar Shrine, the Sonakanda River Fort, Abdul Hamid's Mosque, and the Ibrahim's are a few of the prominent structures that you must not miss out of the numerous monuments.
