Hello everyone

The Earth is one gift from nature that both the rich and the poor have in common. We learn that Earth is the only planet in the solar system where life is possible. But have we stressed the value of the earth to humans?

Knowing that the earth is home to varied raw materials that we can use or do we all know the much earth provides for us, for which we should be thankful? Hence, it is necessary to communicate the importance of Earth Day through generations.

What do you know about climate action and earth day?

Climate change is said to be the shift in the environmental conditions of the earth. That is to say, the change in customary temperature or weather of the earth.

Climate change is caused by many different things, of which most have been caused by human actions as well as by natural forces. Some of the major activities of man that are causing climate change include:

• Burning of fossil fuels,
• Industrial wastes,
• Pollution from vehicles, and
• Deforestation.

All these activities coupled with natural causes such as floods, volcanic eruptions, forest fires, etc lead to climate change.

On the other hand, World Earth is a designated day to celebrate mother earth. Having that in mind, I could say it's a day to create awareness of the good we can do for Earth and the harm we've caused it. So can I liken World Earth Day to Earth's birthday? Oh yes, why not. Most of us are celebrated our birthdays every year, so yes, this is a day we celebrate Mother Earth every year.

For this event, on April 22nd of every year, World Earth Day is observed to put forward awareness of the changes on the planet and encourage environmental conservation. This day is celebrated to raise awareness of protecting the Earth and preventing pollution, deforestation, war, destruction, etc., from harming our only Earth as there is none like it. Also encouraging people to make use of use of Eco-friendly items since Earth is our home, and it's up to us all to protect it from the hazards humans are causing.

Show your experiences or activities will that you do to take care of the earth for the better!

Taking care of our Earth is not just a responsibility for a singular person or group of persons, it's a necessity for us all, so what can we all do to protect Earth from impending disaster? Here are a few things we do at home to help ease the effect of escalation.

Planting Trees in our neighborhood will help reduce the harsh effect of greenhouse gases on our mother Earth as Trees not only provide us with food but also with oxygen. Trees help clean the air and support the fight against climate change.

The use of Bicycles. My household encourages the use of bikes in certain distances rather than driving a car which emits Carbon Monoxide which is a common cause of climate change. With the bikes, there is no emission of gases and it also serves as an exercise.

Also, the conservation of water helps in its little way of protecting our Earth if we manage our water properly, there will be less runoff, and with lesser runoff, the better.

Show environmentally friendly products that you use when traveling or on adventures.

Traveling seems kind of a big deal to some of us, as it requires you to have a lot of funds in this part of the world before you can do such as sightseeing and adventures. I wouldn't say I haven't been on transits from one place to another, but if that counts as travel then I would say I try my best to use Eco-friendly items such as bottled water, that way after drinking, the bottle can still serve as a means of storage. Also, I find myself using biodegradable bags such as cartons to put items that can't fit into my luggage.

Since I don't have a personal car, I also use public transportation, which I have come to learn to be Eco-friendly means of transportation.

Share tips for protecting the environment from the trash when adventuring in nature!

In this aspect, I would like to encourage travelers alike to use biodegradable items, thus, avoiding the use of polythene and plastic products and also learning to recycle for those who use plastic items. Stop littering around as this causes harm not only to that neighborhood but the entire Earth.

With biodegradable items, they decompose later to enrich the soil of the Earth which is a plus for farmers alike to grow crops. Whatever item you litter no matter small they are, will certainly shift the balance at some point if it's not biodegradable, so learn to recycle or reuse such items like plastics, bottles, and metals.

If we continue to head in the opposite direction to the aim of World Earth Day, we are much more likely to implode the Earth in no time, thus, the need to create awareness, this is where World Earth Day and World Environment Day come in.

With much education and innovations, I believe the earth would have a brighter future as I know humans to be compassionate about their own and the earth is for all of us and not just a singular being or group of persons, it is for All of us.

With the encouraged use of Eco-friendly items such as Electric cars, Solar panels, Biodegradable items, etc I only see a better future for Earth and we have to not only talk the talk but work the work and pass on this knowledge to generations unborn as there is no other like our Mother Earth.

CONCLUSION

Everyone must save Mother Earth from this disease of Climate change by planting more trees and encouraging the use of Eco-friendly items so we can also enjoy what this earth has for us. Earth doesn't belong to anyone alone, it belongs to all of us, not minding our tribe, religion, beliefs, race, or color so we all should come together and take care of it.
