Swim In The River
Hi steemian friends!!!

On this day I returned to my parents' village which is located in Sawang, Babah Krueng Village. We went there around 08:00 WIB because we remembered that there was a family gathering there. Not all of the people who returned to their village today were because my brother and sister went to work and my last brother too.
The day is hot enough to make the trip must be done quickly. Arriving at the intersection of 4 Krueng Mane we stopped briefly to buy food and drinks. When we got there, we were greeted very lively because today we still have Eid al-Adha vibes. The atmosphere of the village which is so bustling with children is different from the quiet before.
Long story short after attending a family event in the afternoon we went to the river because it had been a long time since we had swam in the Sawang river. When I was a child in my parents' village, it felt like being in Takengon because the nature was very pure and the river water was very cold, it's different from now where gravel has been taken so that this river is not as special as it used to be.
The trip to the river is only 5 minutes because my grandmother's house is very close to the river. Arriving at the river we swam with my little nephew because he was the busiest to swim here. The people around the village also swim every afternoon because village children play like this so it's not surprising.
The river water is quite clean so you feel comfortable while swimming and calm. Especially while having a picnic on the river it feels quite good because you can get beautiful moments in nature. This swimming moment only occasionally we go because remembering that going back to our hometown is just Eid, hehehe, so we make the best use of the time when we are in Sawang.
My grandmother's village or what is called Sawang, they have extraordinary natural wealth, ranging from fruits to plants that are quite fertile. My grandmother's hometown is known for its durian because the durian here tastes really good. About 30 more minutes we swam and finally we went home because we remembered that it was time for sunset and the journey home was far away so we had to hunt for it.
Maybe that's all for this post, see you in my next post.

Nice to hear that you had a wonderful time visiting your parents' village and enjoying a family gathering. It's refreshing to swim in the Sawang river and reconnect with the beauty of nature. The village sounds lively and full of joyful moments. Cherish those special times and make the most of your visit. Looking forward to reading your next post!
thanks for reading my post and checking it out
I'd rather to get a great bath there but not so early in the morning because cold water 💦 but then, the more late, the more burning on the skin because hot sun, so I guess it's better to be able for bearing that temperature. 😂 Thanks for sharing.
I prefer morning because the water is fresh, maybe we are in a different mood hahaha
LoL 😂 of course, different ways to enjoy nature's marvel. We're both agree 👍🏼✔️
