More products targeting belly fat that are all BS
It never ceases to amaze me the way that there are droves of people out there that continue to buy this garbage when it has been scientifically proven over and over again that it simply isn't possible to "target" the fat in any part of of your body. It doesn't matter how many situps you do if you have belly fat, you will not get abs. It doesn't matter how much you exercise any part of your body that has fat on it, your body doesn't work in a way where you can pick an choose which part of it you want the fat to disappear from - yet there are always new products that claim that their pills or supplement will do exactly that.

I found a few more in the past week and once again, they are all backed up by "independent studies" which simply means they hired some physician somewhere to say whatever they want them to and they get away with this because the supplement market is not required to tell the truth and isn't regulated.
Instant Knockout claims that this product will increase your metabolism and depending on who it is that is making the claim they even go so far as to suggest that it will target your belly-fat. Let me go ahead and say it again: It is not possible to target belly fat.... period
You can get invasive surgery to "target belly fat" via liposuction and that is the only way to target any body fat. What this product actually is is a cocktail of various ingredients that are appetite suppressants. There is a reason why these fads disappeared in the 80's for the most part (remember Dexatrim?) and that is because those products, which actually did work, did so because they were essentially low-dose methamphetamines. You don't want to eat when you are high on meth, so that makes sense, right?

The masculine packaging of Instant Knockout has to have a women's version as well right? Well enter Leanbean and if you look into it you will see that this product is making the same dubious claims that Instant KO does. Which is to say that they are both lying to their customers equally.

Leanbean as well as any other supplemental product like it attempts to pain a picture of these people achieving these goals simply by taking a capsule a couple times a day and then sitting on their ass in the office. I can all but guarantee that one of two things and probably both is the actual culprit of this weight loss: These people adapted a healthier diet and started a regular exercise regimen. Oh and they also took some Leanbean or Instant Knockout pills.
These pills and many many others like it don't do a damn thing for you and any company that claims they can increase your metabolism (they can't) or will target fat on any part of your body (impossible) is lying to you.
To me, the craziest thing about all of this is that these capsules, which essentially do nothing for you except maybe get you a bit jacked because of the caffeine in them, cost $60-$100 a bottle, and hundreds of thousands of people fall for this bullshit on a regular basis.
There is a reason why companies like this discontinue the products after a year or so and then rebrand it and that is because the users don't see any results unless they alter their diet and start and exercise program. If you alter your diet and introduce exercise into your life you are going to see the results anyway and you don't need any overpriced bullshit product in order to make this happen.
If you are the type of person that buys into this stuff, just stop it. With the extra hundred dollars a month (or more) you could afford to buy healthier food or a new pair of Reeboks instead. Both of these things are going to do much more for you than any of this "snake oil" that floods the market year after year.
