Back again with me @muthmainnah, on this beautiful occasion I want to share about the flood situation at my brother's place in Meunasah Siren, Matang Kuli. Several villages close to this village are prone to flooding because there are no embankments on the riverbanks to prevent flooding. According to a company, the embankment is one of the efforts we can do to prevent flooding, although sometimes there are also villages that have embankments on the banks of the river but still flood.

The rainy season has arrived again. For some areas this rain is a hope that has been waiting for this. However, for some other people, this rain is both a blessing and a trial. Moreover, this is not the first time, but the flood has happened there many times. If the rainy season has arrived, this is a signal or sign to get ready because guests will come soon even though their presence is never expected.

At the beginning of the story I heard, some of these residents have gardens very close to the river bank. In the garden there are crops of secondary crops and there are also large plants that can be used as boards. And the company wants to buy big trees that are very close to the riverbank and wants to build a levee as a way to prevent flooding.

However, the plantation did not give it on the grounds that the price offered was relatively cheap by the company. So, in the end, the plants still stand tall and the flood seems to be a special guest when the rainy season arrives. Not only once or even twice in every rainy season depending on the level of rainfall.

That is the fact until now and so far there has been no effort whatsoever to prevent this flood disaster. Even though my brother who lives in the area has buried his house 1 meter from the base house, but when the flood comes, the water can rise up to 50 cm from the landfill. There is no power and effort, but only God who is almighty above all.

It is unfortunate if there are residents whose houses are made of wood, the wood will quickly rot and be damaged. Rice fields that have just been planted with rice are submerged for two to three days.

As brothers of the same faith and religion, let's pray together, hopefully this disaster will pass quickly and there will be a solution to prevent future floods. A lot of people have suffered from this tragedy. We as humans can only hope and pray, the rest we leave to Allah the almighty. Allah knows best what is best for our world and the hereafter.

Do not despair of Allah's Mercy and Allah is wide in forgiveness.

That's a little bit for me, hopefully this disaster can be an afterthought for us to keep trying to be the soul that the creator always longs for.
