The days pass and the blossoms are falling. But the magic is not over yet and there is still enough of this fragile and intoxicating beauty around us to admire. Even the cold rain and the sharp wind, which was shaking us a little for two days, fortunately did not manage to end this magnificent spectacle. Although they did cause quite a mess, and the blossoms from many trees were already blown down. But even then, you can still find places in the city where it is hard to resist the overwhelming charm of the cherry blossoms.

When it rains, of course, the scenery looks quite different than when the sun is shining and the sky is blue. But if you look closely, even on such days you may be able to completely surrender to the spell of Queen Sakura. The weather might not be as inviting as usual, but a little bit of melancholy is also part of this time of year. But if you already give up and write off the cherry blossom, then it's your own fault. If you defy the weather and get close enough, you will find what you are looking for even on such rather wet days, and you surely will be rewarded. And in the process, you usually have the magic of the moment all to yourself.

I wonder how much of this wonderful sight will still be there to admire tomorrow, and how much will survive the next few days. But fortunately, I still have a few places up my sleeve where I have also arranged to meet with the queen. There she will pose again, perhaps in a somewhat fresher garb. I am glad that she seems to have found a little more time. And since the sun is also supposed to show up again, I'm actually quite optimistic that we will try a few more dances all together. Even if finally the wind will carry away the white-pink beauty directly in front of my eyes and we will have to say goodbye to each other.

But we still have a few moments remaining, and regardless of whether it's windy, rainy or sunny, we won't let anyone take them away from us.

Die Tage vergehen und die Blüten fallen. Aber noch ist der Zauber nicht zu Ende und es gibt noch genug von der zarten und berauschenden Schönheit um uns zu bewundern. Auch der kalte Regen und der scharfe Wind, die uns für zwei Tage ein wenig durchgeschüttelt, haben es zum Glück nicht geschafft, dieses herrliche Schauspiel zu beenden. Obwohl sie doch für einiges Durcheinander gesorgt haben, und die Blüten von vielen Bäumen bereits nach unten geweht wurden. Aber selbst dann findet man in der Stadt noch Orte, an denen man sich dem unwiderstehlichen Reiz der Kirschblüte nur schwer entziehen kann.

Bei Regen wirkt die Szenerie natürlich ganz anders als bei Sonnenschein und blauem Himmel. Doch wenn man genau hinschaut, kann man sich auch an solchen Tagen ganz dem Spiel von Königin Sakura hingeben. Vielleicht kommt sie solchem Wetter nicht ganz so berauschend daher als sonst, aber ein klein wenig Melancholie und Schwermut gehören zu dieser Zeit einfach auch dazu. Wer jetzt aber bereits aufgibt und die Kirschblüte abschreiben tut, ist selber schuld. Wer dem Wetter trotzt und wer nah ran geht, der wird auch an solch eher nassen Tagen finden, was er sucht, und belohnt werden. Und dabei hat man den Zauber des Augenblicks meist ganz für sich allein.

Man fragt und wundert sich, wie viel von diesem wundervollen Anblick morgen noch zu bewundern sein wird, und wie viel die nächsten Tage überlebt. Aber glücklicherweise hat man noch einige Orte in petto, an denen man sich auch mit der Königin verabredet hat. Dort wird sie vielleicht noch einmal in einem etwas frischeren Gewand posieren, denn ein klein wenig Zeit hat sie dann zum Glück doch noch mitgebracht. Und da auch die Sonne sich wieder sehen lassen soll, bin ich eigentlich ganz optimistisch, dass wir noch ein paar Tänzchen zusammen wagen werden. Auch wenn letztendlich die weiß-rosa Schönheit direkt vor meinen Augen vom Wind davongetragen wird, und wir uns dann doch Lebewohl sagen müssen.

Aber ein paar Momente bleiben uns noch, und egal ob Wind, Regen oder Sonne, diese werden wir uns nicht nehmen lassen.

The rain was putting off most people on that day, but if you do not dare you will never win. That's why I went for out for a rather wet rendezvous and eventually I was not disappointed.

Der Regen hat die meisten Leute an diesem Tag abgeschreckt, aber wer nicht wagt, der nicht gewinnt. Deshalb habe ich mich auf ein eher nasses Rendezvous eingelassen und wurde letztendlich nicht enttäuscht.
