Nature's Hunt; A thirst for Equilibrium

The human race has always been at the top of all other kingdoms when it comes to a hunt. What if it reverses? Nature starts to hunt mankind. What could be the reasons behind it? Cruelty is what most people would think of. There is a thin line between a human and an animal, what separates us from them is our ability to think rationally. We are the race that stands out because of our reasoning capability. What's happening is that already thin line is shrinking with each passing moment and the day is not far when it would be hard to distinguish who's the real beast on either side.

The passing years proved to be a hunt, a chaotic chain of events starting from Australian bushfires to a global pandemic sweeping down forests and taking down countless humans. Nature lost her lungs this year apart from the economical collapse of various nations altogether when the Australian wildfire swept more than 46 M acres of the land along with approximately 1.5 B animals. There was an unusual turn in the history of this generation as normal life was turned upside down giving sight of a war without an actual one. Millions of living beings were chewed up by natural fires meanwhile people left behind their pets starving to death at home while evacuating for the sake of their own survival. What caused this havoc cannot be seen with a naked eye yet it exists and spreads.

Nature has its own way

Nature has its own way of coping with unfriendly alterations in the environment. When it lost the biggest resource of Oxygen, it turned down vehicles and machinery around the globe to reduce the effect of global warming. The temperature rises up to certain degrees with each passing year and now with the fact that there's no big heat absorbent present; it was estimated to reach unexpected peaks and what was predicted to happen after decades could have occurred within a year if nature had taken no account of it.
On one side the epidemic has adverse effects on organisms however on the other side it worked as a shield to protect the world from a catastrophe. It's true that while we are holding up the shield; protecting ourselves, it would bruise the palms of our hands. But it's entirely up to us to decide what's worse whether to throw away the shield letting a thousand cuts bleed us to death or to let the palms ache for a short while with a breath that still exists.

Message Of Universe

2.png

What if we all consider it as a message from the universe, a way through which nature could convey its misery of what we have been doing to it for centuries? We destroyed millions of habitats in the name of urbanization and we mourn when nature does it to us. We make mutated microorganisms to be on the safe side in case our opponents decide to rage war on us, we could use it against them as a bio-weapon yet we mourn when nature does it to us. Why do we only mourn when it happens without our consent and not when it occurs due to our unethical course of actions? The answer is clear, we don't want to admit our wrongdoings but we grieve a lot when nature strikes us back.
There's always a price to pay once an act of cruelty has been conducted. Sometimes the payment is obtained earlier and sometimes it's due with an extending leash to see if there's any glimpse of repentance in the eyes of a convict. The chaos doesn't just start with the Australian wildfire and ends at Covid, as the chain continues with Californian bushfire and the ongoing spread of Covid among nations. This year taught us a lot only if we want to learn. Nature cries every moment while the humans cherish in joy. Still, nature was not so cruel indeed as it slowed down the process of global warming just to see if the humans are sane enough to repent.
