Budbod: Sticky rice in a banana leaf

Today is the birthday celebration of my late father Danny who is now in heaven with our savior. My mother cooked her specialty budbod in Visayan dialect or suman in Tagalog/Filipino language.

It is a sticky rice wrapped in a banana leaf and cooked over an hour or until the rice is fully cooked.

This was how my parents helped the family raised us all siblings. My mother cooked delicacies like budbod and some of my siblings will sold them to the neighborhood.
