Syamtalira Aron District as a sub-district that relies on the agricultural sector with an area consisting of rice fields that is quite large, so that every time the rice yields are harvested a lot causes the price of rice to decrease. This has its own impact on the implementation of existing buying and selling. All of this can be seen from the proliferation of various kinds of buying and selling practices, one of which is by using a price deferral system, especially in the sale and purchase of rice as the main agricultural product in Syamtalira Aron District.

As the author explained in the introductory chapter that what the author means by buying and selling rice with a deferred price agreement in Syamtalira Aron District is a sale and purchase transaction of rice from farmers as sellers with traders as buyers of the rice, but the price of the rice is not directly paid at the time of rice. handed over to the buyer (deferred payment in accordance with the agreement of the farmer as the seller with the buyer).

The practice of buying and selling rice with this price deferral system continues. because the profits are considered quite promising from the practice of buying and selling. The rice harvest season is also the season for farmers and traders. Nowadays people are more modern, prefer practical, people are lazy to save rice because it is a hassle, it is better to store it in the form of jewelry or property. Such changes in the times may have inspired traders to come up with their new buying and selling system, namely buying and selling with a price deferral system.

Based on the results of the author's research, it can be explained that the procedure or process of buying and selling rice with deferred payments that occurs in Syamtalira Aron District begins with an agreement between the seller and the buyer. Based on the observations of researchers and the results of interviews in general, in terms of looking for buyers, farmers will sell their rice with a price deferral system to special buyers who are well known by farmers because of the bonds of friendship or brotherhood between the two and the buyer has a good reputation and is known to be honest. , because it would be very risky for farmers to sell their rice to dishonest buyers.

According to Mr. Abdullah, as the farmer interviewed by the writer, the agreement between the farmer who owns the rice and the trader as the buyer usually occurs before the rice harvest takes place. According to him, a few days before harvest, farmers will meet buyers who have been accustomed to buying rice whose payments have been deferred. Transactions are carried out by the seller and the buyer on the basis of mutual consent of both parties and are carried out consciously. The practice of buying and selling rice with a price deferral system is a sale and purchase carried out with a system of deferring the payment of the price of rice at a certain time with an initial agreement, that the rice purchased on that day will be paid for in the future, whenever the seller asks for it or takes rice from the merchant who buys it. the rice at the prices prevailing on that day.

After the initial agreement between the farmer and the buyer's merchant, on the day of harvest the trader will take the rice directly from the farmer's rice field by using a pickup truck owned by the trader or using an engine rickshaw. The cost of harvesting the rice is borne by the traders. Furthermore, the rice will be weighed and an agreement is made between the farmers who own the rice and the traders as buyers. namely the lafaz ijab from the farmer who owns the rice which is usually spoken in the aceh language, namely ka lon publoe pade lon keudroeneuh (I am selling this rice to you) and the qabul answer from the seller as the buyer is ka lon bloe pade droeneuh keu lon (I bought your rice). The statement of ijab qabul is then followed by the submission of evidence in the form of a receipt or a record of the amount of rice owned by the farmer, while the price of the rice is not paid directly.

Furthermore, the goods in the form of rice that have been received by the buyer will be managed by the buyer without any further intervention from the seller (farmer). Based on the results of the author's research, there are traders who directly sell the rice to larger traders or there are also those who do not sell it to traders who have rice mills, then the rice will then be dried in the sun to be milled into rice so that it will bring greater profits to traders who buy the rice.

Associated with the payment process from the sale of rice, as the results of the author's research, it can be seen that the farmer as the seller will receive payment at the time desired by the rice seller farmer, whenever the farmer wants to take payment of the price of his rice, the rice buyer must pay it, with an agreement if the price increases, then the initial price at the time of purchase of rice cannot be used as a benchmark price.

The price used is the price that is higher than the price at the time of purchase, and vice versa if the price of rice drops from the initial price at the time of purchase, the price used is the price of rice which has decreased.

Based on the author's interview, it can also be seen that the payment system can be negotiated and paid in installments several times according to the agreement between farmers as sellers and traders as buyers. In addition to taking in the form of money, Farmers who sell their rice with a price deferral can also take rice which is then calculated the price and then reduced by the amount of rice owned by the farmer who is sold to the trader. In practice, farmers usually do not take money from the price of rice they sell at once, but take it gradually according to their needs, and are usually taken when the price of rice is high.
