Blackout
How true. When a disaster is announced, a crisis, a blackout, the thorny man shrugs his shoulders and goes on with what he is doing. After all, people say as much and why should you worry if you live in a welfare state where everything is taken care of. By now it is clear that all those doom scenarios are fake news, conspiracy theories.
Should you worry and let negative news, a war, the next crisis ruin your life? You can take precautions, maybe develop skills so you can live without what you grew up with and what you take for granted, but you don't have to.
A blackout, temporary or permanent, you can survive it, live with it as many still do. Also in the western world there are still people who live without electricity. You will not find them on the internet, they are not part of society, social life and do not participate in social media.
Who are the people who will survive? Is it the rich in their bunker, is it the old men and women who own everything or is it the man who didn't want to know anyone and is going his own way and is still alive and doing it without all the luxuries of prosperity?
A blackout, amnesia, temporary or permanent, maybe that is not so bad. Just a new start without being bothered by the past, the upbringing, the way your own self has been erased and replaced by what others think you should think.
Just going your own way, pulling the brake and not going along with the crowd is, in my opinion, the best way to survive a disaster. There will always be disasters, man lives from one crisis to the next, often unnoticed, but that does not mean that everything will work out and we do not have to take responsibility.
Many books and films have been written about the end of the world. We have become so used to it that we still think it is fiction and fiction is not real, but what if it is? What if they are warnings instead of a fiction?
We are terrible at listening to warnings about disasters
See HERE for what the mission is about). Can solutions be found by one organisation/person?
