Day 818: 5 Minute Freewrite: Thursday - Prompt: Satellite

The wonderful thing about working in the place where I currently do it is how dark everything is when the lights go out since I am far from the city. At the end of the daily task, I go to the pool area together with my Platonic Love, we take some chairs with a reclining back and we begin to contemplate the sky, dark like ebony, full of flickering lights produced by the stars that make each night, try to contemplate them.

Satellites? Clear! They are not difficult to observe in the darkness of the night, when at a constant speed, it crosses the celestial vault, fulfilling the function by which it was put into orbit.

When I see them, quickly and with much emotion I say to my wife:

-"There goes one, observe"

She, with her eyes half-closed says:

-"Where where?"

-There (pointing a finger) Look at it!

-I can't see it, love! Where?

I immediately turn to see her and say:

Do you have your glasses on?

Without his glasses, he cannot distinguish a person 100 meters away. How could he see a satellite which is a little dot that crosses the sky?

At least you can see the lights that spring from the stars, maybe not clearly, but she knows they are there and shine to give us the best light every night.
