The apple of knowledge: "Dialogues in Eden"
"What is the boundary between these two contradicting worlds, and how can one prevail over the other without causing distress?
What boundary lies between these two worlds so opposite yet so united? How can my goodness elicit so much wickedness in the one who poisoned me with her envy? How can such wickedness render me immobile and submissive? Why does her wickedness only fuel my goodness? Am I foolish or sadistic for not reacting to so much hate?
Perhaps ignorance is not mine; perhaps I'm waiting for a sign from fate, which cannot be adverse to me. Am I fearful, or am I simply staying in my place; being the smallest, should I not be understood and helped? What is the origin of envy?
It is cultivated from a young age, from a sequence of distorted frames of our childhood, which matures the seed of envy that blinds and torments you, making you confuse wrong with right, and the more you err, the more you feed your hate, until when? Until you find the denied peace? How can goodness disenchant you from this spell? Perhaps it cannot;
there is no cure for blindness, there is no cure for those who can no longer see with the eyes of innocence, who have not felt pain, who have not been loved. For this reason, your wickedness does not infect me; it can only grieve my soul because it sees you wrapped in the darkness of envy."

If I have to assess who is the most wicked in my writing and based on apparent intentions, the serpent seems to take on this role. The serpent is often seen as the embodiment of temptation and evil, the one who cunningly pushes Eve towards the choice that leads to the fall of humanity. Eve, despite making a mistake, reflects on the nature of evil and its impact. Hers is a quest for understanding and overcoming, not for spreading evil. Her action of listening to the serpent and acting against a prohibition could be interpreted as an act of rebellion or misplaced curiosity. Eve also shows an understanding of the complexity of evil and human suffering. She seems to seek a way to understand and overcome the cycle of hatred and envy that the serpent represents. With this story, I wanted to explore the complexity of good and evil, pushing us towards a greater understanding and empathy in our interactions.
