Hello steemian friends wherever you are, meet again with me @iqbal-pasee, one of the atomians member in Indonesia.

On this occasion I will discuss about the types of refractive errors.

Refractive errors can be in the form of myopic or farsighted eyes, hypermetropic eyes, namely farsightedness and farsightedness.

This time, I will discuss the first refractive error, namely myopic eyes, myopic eyes are a condition where the light that comes into the eye is focused in front of the retina, this is caused by the refractive index of the eye lens that is too strong or the size of the eyeball is too long.

People with myopia experience blurry vision when looking at distant objects, but objects up close can be seen clearly. This is because the change in the distance of the object to the eye changes the focal point to be right on the retina. Many factors cause myopia eyes, heredity is the most important factor.

Myopia is often found in children when they are eight to twelve years old, between the ages of thirteen and nineteen, myopia gets worse. Entering the age of twenty to forty years usually little changes occur.

To help his vision, myopia sufferers must use concave lenses so that myopia is often also called minus eye.
