SOURCE OF FREE RADICAL
Hello steemian friends wherever you are, meet again with me @iqbal-pasee, one of the atomians member in Indonesia.
On this occasion I will discuss about the source of free radicals.
Sources of free radicals do not only come from within the body but also from outside the body, where do they come from?
The first is from air pollution, naturally free radicals are a by-product of the oxidation or combustion process when we breathe. Air pollution resulting from the combustion process of motorized or industrial vehicles can also interfere with the respiratory system and metabolic function, thereby increasing the formation of free radicals in the body.
Second, cigarette smoke, the ingredients contained in cigarettes can cause radical damage to the respiratory system.
The third is ultraviolet or UV radiation, UV rays emitted by the sun to the earth have considerable energy that can trigger and even cause free radicals, especially on the skin.
The four pesticides, these are toxic chemicals left in agricultural products can trigger gene mutations, central nervous disorders, cell damage, premature aging and the emergence of generative diseases.
Fifth, several types of anti-cancer drugs can increase the production of free radicals in the form of increasing oxygen tension or pro-oxidants.
Sixth, excessive exercise, excessive exercise will make the body need more oxygen supply, triggering the emergence of free radicals. If this activity is done too often free radicals will accumulate.
"Remember prevention is much better than cure"
So much information from me about the source of free radicals, hopefully it will be useful and look forward to the next tips in my post.
Thank you for dropping by at my writing. Until we meet again in my next writing.
