Chess Puzzle of the Day (Mar 8, 2020) | Problema de ajedrez del día (8-Mar-2020)
♔♞♙ Chess Puzzle of the Day
*** White to play and checkmate ***
This position has a potential beauty. The first move is obvious and those of us with experience know that the consequences of this pattern are devastating for the side that suffers it. However, in this game we do not need to sweep the seventh rank or so, but checkmate in a truly invasive manner that illustrates well the ability of coordination between the bishops and rooks.
Do you want to exercise your tactical skills a little? Then solve this chess puzzle. Indicate the correct move and a full continuation. If you want, you can point out the tactical motives and other patterns present.
I also want to invite you to participate in the weekly #SteemChess tournament, promoted by @schamangerbert and held every Saturday through lichess.org. If you play chess online, join in! Free registration.

Concerning your problem, the solution is:
Nice problem by @eniolw and nice solution by @jaki01
Hi, @Rodrook, thanks for the animation! BTW, the final move is Rg8++! The one you picked (Re7) allows black to defend with ...Nf6, blocking the check :)
Sorry @eniolw, I have corrected the animation. I was working from memory doing multiple things. I am little forgetful these days.
Congratulations @eniolw! You have completed the following achievement on the Steem blockchain and have been rewarded with new badge(s) :
You can view your badges on your Steem Board and compare to others on the Steem Ranking
