CONTEST #5 || WEEK-1 || MY HOLIDAY TIME || Trip to Tissamaharama

Hello my dear fellow Steemians,
I'm so excited to share my holiday experiences with you guys. First of all, I would like to appreciate @The-Steemit-City & @sm-shagor for organizing this kind of contest😊. So, I hope you guys also will enjoy my holiday trip to Tissamaharama.

As Sri Lankans, we usually get our holidays in April, August, and December months. April holiday is my favorite because we celebrate Sinhala and Tamil New Year. Every April holiday we go on a trip with our relatives. In this time we didn't go that far owing to this pandemic situation. So we went to Thissamaharama where it takes only 2 hours to go from our place.

It was a 2 day trip. So, we booked a villa for one night. It was about 12 p.m when we reached there. Then, we had our lunch there. Aftere I went to the pool with my cousins and we spent few hours playing a game until evening. Water was getting so cold, so we got out from the pool. Those hours were so happy. Oh I forgot to say that our little niece also joined with us in the pool. She is just 3 years old. She played with her toys there.

Again we gathered for our evening tea. That tea was so delicious with chocolate cake which I made for the trip😊. It was the perfect time to go to the temple when the sun goes down. Everyone wore white color dresses for go to the temple. The temple is known as ' Thissamaharama Raja Maha Viharaya'. Until night we spent few hours to worship and walk in the temple. Then we went to the villa for our dinner. After having dinner me and my cousins played card games. We had so much chats and fun while playing card games.

Next day morning we had our morning tea at about 7 a.m. Then we dressed up and pack our laugages to go. After having breakfast we directly went to the Tissa Lake* which situated near to the villa we stayed. There were so many people near the lake. Some of them were bathing and some of them were enjoying a boat ride around the lake. Also, few of us had a boat tour around the lake. It was another fun experience to us and bit adventurable. My cousins rod a' jetski ' as well. However, we spent few hours there by chatting, laughing, and eating ice creams.😊

Then, we went to Sithulpawwa Buddhist Monastery. It was an ancient temple with a beautiful scenary. Actually, It is surrounded by a forest. This temple is situated on a rock. There were many people in that day. So, we didn't spend much time there. This was the final destination of our trip. Then, we directly went to our places with lot of memories.

Actually this trip was so much fun to me. Normaly we go 4 days trip, but because of this pandemic situation, we limited it to 2 days. However we had lot of fun and collect a lot of memories. So, this how I spend my holiday time!
