@Botched Operations no one is talking latino latina away from you, latine is just for people to be more inclusive. Also idk where you got "la communidad latina", here latina is an adjective tied to a noun, not a noun itself. In this case there is no sexism tied to the word.

Alternatively, Latine is used. I have found this to be the case mostly outside of the western context as it flows better in Spanish

@FlowerTower It's just a language, and it doesn't really fit the definition of Sexism. It may not be ideal or well-received, sure, but it's not sexist.

@Lychee well not everywhere. Some in the comments say latino is sexist since they dont include females in the equation. Which says alot about generalizing on a whole continent of people and different cultures. "La communidad latina comments comes from that latina is also used to identify females and males in a single term. So latino and latinas are fined as they are. Spanish speaking latinos and latinas have no issues with it for years and we dont need new ones.

@Botched Operations those are the "woke people"
There is no problem using latino, latina with nouns, gente latina. Heck, theres no problem using them as nouns, él es latino. But then theres non- binary people and mixed gender groups who dont use either el or ella. Then there comes latine, ellos son latine. That's the only instance I can see it being used.(anyone feel free to correct me, this is how I understand this)
