Private rooftop gardening offers an opportunity to get close to nature and gather produce by hand. City life is boring, but rooftop gardening offers lovely leisure. Gardening requires physical activity like watering plants, cleaning the floor, ploughing pot soil, and generating natural fertilizer. As they care for the plants, tension, worry, and weariness decrease significantly. Rooftop gardening improves lives gradually. Most city residents live in pigeon boxes, relying on electronics, gadgets, concrete buildings, and cars. Trees are the heart of nature; thus, rooftop and veranda gardening allows people to spend time with nature.

Having fresh fruits and veggies from a search is immensely satisfying. Different birds, bees, and insects can shelter. Additionally, some enthusiastic gardeners grow pigeons and koel birds together. Day by day, city air quality worsens. CO2 from automobiles pollutes the air and slowly poisons metropolitan people. Rooftop and veranda gardening may not transform the environment overnight, but they improve air quality and provide adequate oxygen for many people. It may be tiny, but it matters for health. Dhaka City Corporation mayors have pledged a 10% holding tax dispute to encourage rooftop gardening. It would be fantastic for the environment if half of Dhaka's buildings allowed rooftop gardening. Today I will tell you about our roof garden. To be honest, this roof garden was done initially by my mother. My mother loves trees very much. Everyone in my family prefers this liking of her.

We tend to the plants and water them over the holiday season; nonetheless, she is the one who mostly takes care of these plants. Our health depends on eating lots of fruits and veggies that are green. Getting it on a daily basis is important for staying healthy and avoiding the many diseases that affect us today. A lot of fruit and vegetable trees grow in our roof yard. Within the group of fruit trees is a mango tree with lovely mangoes.

We have banana and grape trees too.

You can also find a lemon tree and a sweet potato tree.

A regular vegetable diet aids in the treatment of anaemia. We have Ceylon spinach (Pui Shak) and water spinach (Kolmi Shak) among the vegetable plants.

We also have beans, cilantro leaves, and chilies among the vegetables.

Neem, Tulsi & aloe vera is a medicinal plant. Its branches, leaves, and juice are all useful.

We also have this tree on our rooftop. There must be flowers as one of the options. The perfumes and flowers bloom here, enhancing Earth's natural beauty. Among the flowering plants, we have Hibiscus, China Rose ( Raktajaba), portulaca Flower ( Ghasphool) and foliage plants (Patabahar).

We hope to bring more flowering plants in the future. Moreover, a notable abundance of aesthetically pleasing trees may be seen.

We spend the holiday afternoon on the roof with nature almost every Friday.
