The story, my adventure, from yesterday is true. Since you are my friend I'll tell you I rarely make something up. I might use symbolism, sarcasm or... But each word said and written are facts.
People easily believe I make it up or don't mean what I say because of the way I say it or I smile but it's wise to listen to my words only if I speak (I am not talkative by the way).

Within my family and among my friends irony, sarcasm, black humour is normal and we laugh a lot.
No one feels hurt which is a good thing too. My son does his best and it's difficult for him to be alone. He called me 3-5 times a day although he doesn't speak much I assume it comforts him. I let him clean the trunk of the car (8 liters of gasoline leaked) while I mowed. He's back to bed. I'll see if he gets out later to eat or will sleep till the next day.

It's fine with me if my children go their own way, live their lives. It's important they find their ways.
If it comes to it I have at least one daughter who will take care of me and so will my son. He already helped a lot from two years old. They never let me carrying anything and he cooks, cleans, does the shopping and carries me if I can't stand up (for years I spent most time in bed. That was the time I started on Steemit/so most posts are written while I laid on my (left) side. It took me an hour to turn around by myself and to stand up).

It's great you managed to buy a vehicle it does make life easier. It's great public transport exists but it's always thinking ahead, calculating time and hoping it shows up. It was a super gift since it also made them function independently for a longer time. I know that would be important to me.
I always stayed home and didn't care about how long it took me to get in and out bed or take the stairs.

To make someone smile is all that counts. I could do so to my son with a spicy meal but also with some socks and above all a hug. If he needs one he asks for it.

I hope how we are as parents will have its effect. I think it will since I still remember what my grandmother said, the housekeeper and each person that impressed me in some way.
