Steemit Engagement Challenge S9-W6: "Goal setting for the year"

The great people of the Steem community, I send you greetings from my end, it feels nice to be with you always, it seems like the Steem engagement challenge is getting better every day with me. Let's hear about some goal setting.

What specific goals did you set for the year?

1. Buying of smartphone
2. Getting a shop
3. Securing a job

Before the year ended up, many things capture my mind to being within the beginning of the year, first was to obtain a smartphone for my Steem articles writing because my sister-in-law told me a lot about Steemit and how it helps many individuals across the country, so I work with all of my heart towards achieving that, knowing how bad the economy of the country rises and full every day,

investing money in a trading market can bring you down at any moment, so I set up my aims in favor myself, now my phone has been obtained and I start my article writing, and is truly what I had about the Steemit community, it refreshes my memory, and it gives me confidence in writing, every day I get to learn new skills and read about things I have never heard, the wide expansion of knowledge, above all the earnings it gives.

Getting a shop, the little saving I made from my provision contribution, I rented a shop for my fish pepper soup and indomi selling in the evening, while I waited for my customers, I write my article with the hope of getting some votes that will build my business in the future, my goal setting has helped me a lot, previous years I had lost a lot of money trying to build a business but up till now nothing yield out of it,

there was an outbreak of war in my village that lead to the loss of many properties and souls my shop burned down with all my assets, if only I have invested in the cryptocurrency, life could have been better by now.

Securing an employment opportunity, I have applied for different types of jobs, road safety, civil defense, and teaching work, I had written an exam for the teaching job recently and undergo physical training on road safety awaiting both results, my endless praying was that God should stand in the gap for me and many other who have no one, because in this country for you to secure an opportunity, someone must have to present your documents. The rich always have it their way, with or without knowledge their children are working.

How have you worked to achieve the goal set?

I have been trying my best to write the article daily, which is a great achievement, the little income I made from Steem daily is safe because no one can reach my account without my permission, and obtaining knowledge that you never know is an addition to one life.

Exam I have written hopefully by the end of the year names will be shortlisted and I have complete confidence that I will be among the listed candidate on bond. With the support am getting from Steemit by the end of the year I will achieve my next target, which is my further education, in this life you hardly get a job with an NCE certificate

My fish and indomi business is growing day by day customers are coming from far and nearby to eat my kitchen dish.

How has or will your goal impact others?

I believe with time if my business keeps growing up I will organize a lecture to the young ladies on how to cook fish pepper soup and how to make some quality meals like egusi soup, okra, and more, and also to pass across the steemit knowledge to others community so that many people will have self income by using their brain and earn a living. This knowledge will impact greatly many applicants without job opportunities.

How have you benefited from setting and achieving those goals?

Setting up a goal helps me to focus on what I put my mind to achieve, it gives me satisfaction seeing that my primary objective has been achieved. Joining steem world was one of the best benefits of setting

It makes me feel like my dream come through, two of my goals through Steemit I will able to establish my business through learning from many contests, I am glad that I found this platform, thank you Steemit community for enlightening my knowledge, and hope to learn more as time goes on.
