I am really glad seeing such awesome contest because it really makes us know the Importance and value of charity in our lives and that of our community and I want to really thank this wonderful charity organizations on steemit and the steemit team who have endlessly supported the life's of so many individuals both those on steemit and those who aren't on steemit, I want to say a big Thank you

About Charity

Charity has been easily defined as the act or process of helping, assisting and supporting of any one or group of people in need of your help and assistance, charity is a very great work and it's has it great rewards both on earth and in heaven. One thing I am glad of is the fact that every region, country religion or people really believe in charity. In fact there is a saying that goes like this

Givers never lack

And another One goes like this

He who giveth to the poor and needy will definitely receive from God and man in larger quantity.

And don't be surprised that the growth and success if this community is because of the prayers of those who lives have been changed and helped during the past.

I am glad with the latest development of this charity organizations, that's to say I am glad the finally opened Nigeria branch and this i really a great achievement. Why this latest development gladden me is because I remember some months ago I asked for support for a medical student (also a steemian) who I never physically met. He told me his story and I was sad and wanted to help but I was to broke to support him pay his school fees before he final exam, so I made a post seeking support from a charity organizations in a community but my pled was rejected because they charity organizations needed a delegate to confirm my request and the was non available, I was so sad because the deadline was near. At end I wasn't given the support I was sad and the guy also had to sell his phone to get money and he never came back to Steemit out of disappointment
