The Tool was built by @steemchiller and it is used to search for potential abusers, and below are the characteristics of this wonderful tool

  • THE SEARCH CRITERIA

The search criteria contain two current types, the Comments and the Root post. and the search criteria help to fish out users that are corrupt and unjust. the look for ways to abuse the platform, getting votes and rewards from bit bots, either directly from a root post or by just a mere comment on a post.

so the search criteria make the work easy by fishing them out from every angle.

  • Current Types - As I said earlier, the current types are two and they are either Comments or Root posts, and to find users who are unlawfully abusing the platform by getting votes and rewards from bit bots can either search through various comments or the root posts.

  • Number of post to check - It is also part of the search criteria, the number of posts to check can be adjusted depending on the number of posts you are willing to check that has been abused the minimum post one can search for is 100.

  • Total payout threshold (STU) - This indicates the total payout of the abuser that has either been redeemed or is pending.

  • DOWNVOTE OPTIONS

The downvote options have the following features and they are seen as follows.

  • Current Downvote Power - This is referred to the amount of power a user possesses to downvote a post, that is to say, a user can downvote a post when the post is not relevant and this will reduce the rewards gotten on such content.
  • Current Upvote Power- This signifies the current upvote power a user posses. it is used to upvote posts and comments on the platform and it works hand in hand based your the amount of steem power a user possesses at a particular time, this power increases whenever a user's steem power is increased.

  • Use Smart Downvote - This is done when a user automatically chose to downvote various posts or comments related to content.

  • Fixed Downvote Weight - This is the total fixed weight of the downvote power which is known as -100, currently when you want to vote a content or comment we do notice a pop up of our voting power, when this happens a user then chose the weight of the vote to vote content and it is calculated in percentage as seen below is a typical example of a fixed up vote and down vote weight.

  • Upvote Weight

This is an example of a fixed-up vote weight.

  • Downvote Weight

The above image which indicated the -100% shows the fixed downvote weight. and also when you downvote a post you will be asked certain questions on why you downvoted such post or comment.

  • Potential Abusers

The potential Abusers are users that have misused the system especially using bit bot to vote themselves high rewards which the content does not deserve, they use that medium to farm rewards for themselves and it indicates the author's names, pending SP, pending STEEM, and pending SBD that is yet to be redeemed.

  • HOW CAN I FIND THE POTENTIAL ABUSERS

This is very simple, after following all the steps from above, then click on Search Criteria, after that, you have to select where you want to find the various abusers from the Current type. either by comments or by Root posts.

Now let us just say I want to search for the potential abusers by Root posts.

  • Step 1 - I will have to go to my search criteria and then select the current type. now I want to search for potential abusers by root posts, then input the number of posts you wish to check and also the Total payout threshold (STU) then finally click on Find abusers as explained in the screenshot below.

step1.jpg

  • Step two - As seen on the screenshot below, is the list of the various potential abusers.

  • Top Posts Payout

The top post payout indicates the higher rewards that have been payout to the various abusers according to the various amount.
