"Contest of Local Culture and Traditions" [ One of our culture is rural fairs. ]
Assalamualaikum friends, how are you all?I hope by the grace of God everyone is very well. I am also very good by the grace of God.This is my participating post in the Local Traditions Contest organized by community admin @irawandedy. Here I will inform you about my local tradition. Let's get started.
About 95% of our country is Muslim. So our main religion is Islam. In Islam we believe in the soul. We also exist in a variety of cultures outside of our religious festivals. It includes various fairs in the village including Pahela Boishakh, Chaitra Mela. These are mixed in our culture. Although our main culture is Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha. But the topic I will discuss with you today is about rural fairs.Rural fairs have appeared in our country since ancient times.I have been watching this kind of fair since my childhood. And there are many memories in this fair.
Such rural fairs are organized every year. Also occasionally small short fairs are seen after a few months. I have a lot of memories at the fair. Those times were really good. I could not understand which was right and which was wrong. But I was very keen to go to the fair. Now I have learned to understand so I have learned to consider the good and the bad. But now there is no joy like before. One of the main characters of this rural fair is Nagardola. Almost everyone is familiar with it.
In the picture, you can see that the wooden swing is like a city wheel. It is made like a round wheel with small swings. Where people enjoy sitting up and down. It is a very comfortable medium where many are eager to get up. Although I don’t like to get up in all these places. Because I'm old enough now. Apart from this city swing, there is a lot to enjoy in the rural fairs.
This guy has a lot of cake making tools. Different types of nakshi pies are made with all the tools. Which catches people's eye. I am also much more interested in this subject. Because the carved cakes are very interesting to see.All these things can be enjoyed in rural fairs. Rural fairs mean many happy days. However, it is not the same for everyone from the religious point of view. Besides, many more things can be noticed in rural fairs. From toys to various decorative items are available in this fair.
In the picture you can see a dog made of cotton. Which are made as toys for children. It is very interesting which is why kids are more attracted to it. Also many girls like to buy such dogs. However, rural fairs have merged with our culture. It’s what most people like to enjoy. And what is more beautiful with people is called culture.I have informed you about the local tradition with a rural fair. Hope you like it.
