My Village in 10 Pics | Matang Munye Village, Syamtalira Aron District, North Aceh Regency | December, 1 2021
hello everyone, have a nice day in early december, and today i want to share about my village, and this is my entry on #mytown10pics / #myvillages10 pic
1. Village Meeting Hall
The Village Hall building is the single most magnificent building in my village, the Village Hall is the center of activity and a gathering place for villagers to discuss and hold big day celebrations such as commemorating independence day and religious holidays. In the countryside, the Village Hall is even used as a place of worship for all local residents.
2. Rapa'i (Traditional Acehnese musical instrument)
Rapa'i is a traditional Acehnese musical instrument that is beaten with bare hands by one person or group of people by adjusting the rhythm or tempo of the music. Rapa'i's voice jingles very loudly and when played with notes and chants of poetry about Aceh's history, the sound is very melodious, Festival Rapa'i has been played in a number of countries and is now known almost all over the world. In my village, the Rapa'i culture is still preserved today. The rapa'i festival usually takes place at night.
3. Rice Field View
Rice fields are where people grow crops, and 85% of the people in my village work as rice farmers, 10% do gardening and only 5% work in offices or government.
4. Water source from the ditch leading to the rice fields
Aside from being a place for children to play in the village, this ditch also functions to drain water into the rice fields according to the needs of farmers when plowing the fields, the water in this ditch is not always filled, only when farmers start plowing the fields it is only filled, usually only happens 3 times a year .
5. Aceh Traditional Delivery
When holding a wedding party, the groom brings a number of items that are mandatory as a custom, or what is called "Bride Delivery" which is also one of the Acehnese cultures that is still preserved in the village to this day.
6. Culinary for invited guests
When holding weddings or other big events, villagers still prepare large amounts of food and still use the traditional way.
7. Traditional cooking spices
Most of the people in my village until now still use the traditional way to process spices, and the taste produced in the food prepared in this traditional way is much more delicious and there is an unforgettable taste in each dish.
8. Squeeze the coconut milk manually
9. The road to the people's house
Road conditions in the countryside are still natural, and until now there are still many roads leading to their homes that have not been concreted
10. Country girl peeling betel nut
Scenes like this we will often encounter when we are in the village, these village girls work part time to help their parents meet household expenses.
