About two months ago I posted about the plan to build a housing unit for the poor that was allocated by the Community Self-Help Program, after going through several administrative stages required as a condition for implementation, I and several teams came to the conclusion to immediately carry out construction, through an internal meeting with a number of our village officials decided to start the first phase of implementation.

In the implementation process and by going through the correct stages, it is required to hold regular deliberations with a number of local community leaders, this is done as a form of mediation to discuss the budget and material needs to be used, considering that the costs used for the construction of the house are costs. of all citizens who are collected voluntarily, it is necessary to have transparency of accountability for all costs that will be used.

This poor community house renovation program is managed entirely by community leaders who are led directly by the village head and most of the sources of funds are obtained from all villagers, and also from fundraising results through social media, this program was originally initiated by the local village head and until recently Currently, it has received support from the entire surrounding community.

I am a volunteer who is entrusted with helping to facilitate everything related to the house renovation plan for the poor, from helping to calculate the cost requirements, sketching the renovation plan to facilitating the procurement of materials to be ordered for construction and also assisting the implementation process in the field later, or supervising direct implementation in order to get the quality of development in accordance with technical standards.

After going through all the administrative stages, the renovation plan for the construction of houses for the poor has started well, and so far the progress of implementation is progressing smoothly. This development is targeted to be completed by the end of this year, and at the beginning of the year it is planned to proceed to the construction of a second house, considering that there are many houses that are still uninhabitable, and need special attention from all community leaders.

We all hope, hopefully with a humanitarian program like this can provide real changes for the sustainability of people's lives below the poverty line, and with a program like this hopefully it will be able to lift the people's economy for the better, with the hope that it can be useful for all of us and what we have done so far continues to have a positive impact on the lives of the general public.
