WSP OFFICIAL REPORT - More support Needed [24th September,2022]

As a way of transparency, the smilenigeria would always maintain its stand in such regard keeping up to its promises as was agreed from the onset. And so, this is us keeping to our bargain.

Knowing very well that our funds come from the steemit platform and most users appreciate the charity's work and wish to see how it touches lives for real.

This is an update on the ongoing steem solar project in Nigeria.

As we all know, the Steem price fluctuates almost every single day, and as such, it has affected the original budget plans for the steem solar project.

Also, the prices of those components have increased as well. The solar company is not ready to compromise their prices as prices from the manufacturers also increase.

Recall, that the original planned Budget for the Solar PV Steem Project in Nigeria was 1,370 Steem, but over one month now since that budget was made, there has been some increase in the components coupled with steem price resulting in the new price of the budget being 2000 steem.

However, the world smile Project leader for Nigeria ubongudofot has negotiated with the Solar Company about the price increase which is risky of going high again, and the manager of the solar Company promised that if a deposit is made prior to the final payment of the solar PV component, that he won't influence any new price even if there was an increment again. After having a meeting with the international team of the world smile project concerning this, some decisions were made, please check them below:

• That ubongudofot(WSP leader) should cash out the 1200 steem in smilenigeria wallet to make the deposit to the solar PV company.

• A follow-up publication should be made giving the financial report on this action.

The transaction would be initiated immediately to carry out this process. However, 800 steems is still needed to complete this payment. donors can set part of their publication percentage to @smilenigeria and then use the hashtag #solarsteem25pc.

Once this part payment is made, a legal document would be issued to the world smile leader for Nigeria by the solar Company as Evidence of the deposit.
