People are constantly falling victim to accidents while saving time, some lose their hands, some lose their legs. The main cause of these accidents is time, people are careless and cross the road without waiting for the traffic signal to save time. Not using the footover bridge to save time, hanging on the bus even though there is no seat in the bus to save time. A bus driver is constantly causing accidents by over-tacking to get ahead of another bus to save time. So I will say that life is more valuable than time. Don't lose life to save time, one accident is the cry of a lifetime. So now it is necessary to make the pedestrians aware through awareness programs in the government. And take necessary action against bus drivers to stop Uber tacking.
Life is worth more than time” We all know this phrase road accident is a slogan. Today I will share with you how the road accident happened before my eyes.
It was 12 o'clock. I am standing at Shahbagh intersection. I am waiting for the bus on the other side of the road using the overbridge.
In front of my eyes, I witnessed a collision. But by God's mercy, they were able to survive.
How it happened:-
Laiju Akhter is returning home after taking her child from school. He crossed the road on the main road even though there was a footover bridge at the Shahbag junction. A motorcycle rear-ended them and they fell into the road. Pedestrians rushed to rescue them. Then the traffic police came and asked him why he was using the main road instead of the footover bridge. He replied that it was only to save some time. Laiju said that he did so. But he is a little ashamed of doing the work. Laiju Akhter told everyone in a shy voice, "It takes a long time to cross the footover bridge." Moreover, the stairs are a little high, so it is difficult to cross with a child. But I understand that the work is not right. I won't do that again.
Like Laiju Akhtar, most pedestrians cross the road on the main road instead of using the footover bridge. The same picture can be seen in most areas of the capital including Farmgate, Banglamotor Newmarket and Asadgate.
Besides, here I think it is better not to mix the two sentences together. Because the sentence “life is more valuable than time” is a slogan to prevent road accidents.
And the second sentence "If you don't do the right thing at the right time, sixteen years of life can be missed" it means our life cycle. Which means you have to do what you should do at any age or time. Love at the time of study and work at the time of love or If you walk around with wind on your body at the age of work, then sixteen years of life will be wasted. Everything has a specific time. Everything should be done according to that time. If you do it earlier, you may not get the desired result. If you do it later, you may not be interested.
At present, according to the research of accident research institute of our country, BUET, more than 400 accidents occur every year in Dhaka not only by using the footover bridge but by crossing the road on the main road. Many people are crippled. Many are dying prematurely. But still most of the time pedestrians are crossing the road on busy roads without using footover bridge to save little time. As the footover bridges are occupied by hawkers and beggars, pedestrians are reluctant to use the over bridges. It is accompanied by insecurity. At night, the violence of robbers on footover bridges increases
So finally I want to say, life is more valuable than time. However, not everybody wants to embrace it. Everyone is anxious to reach the destination in less time. No one objects to having extra passengers in fast vehicles on busy roads. Fatal accidents can happen at any time during this dangerous journey. There may be damage to property. Everyone is careful. Build public awareness. We use foot bridge while crossing the road.
